When I was watching this I thought you were calling the pineapple dressing a dressing that you would put over a salad. Do you have any pineapple dressing like this?
When I seen you pop up my phone was dead. But by the time I watched a movie it was charged. This looks really good and super easy. I will have to get all the ingredients when I get to the store. Not sure when that will be? I woke up sick and my roommate is out of town.
I had a friend that made something like that except she used pound cake instead of bread. It was amazing. She called it ” disassembled pineapple upside down cake.
Just a little joke fir you and Sam, a lady walked into the bank and asked me to check her balance, so I shoved her. Corny huh?

That sounds so good, my grandmother used to make bread pudding using up old bread, she called it Martha Bine pie, don’t have a clue who she was. I wish I had thought to ask. I can’t wait to try this, I love pineapple and bread pudding. I had never thought to combine the two. Thanks for sharing.
Looks great. I’ve developed quite a thing for pineapple desserts. Phyllis Stokes has a pineapple sheet cake with cream cheese frosting on her site or channel or whatever that I’ve made. I screwed it up two different ways and it was still one of the best cakes ever according to my family. I’ll try this. Kinda freaky that it used just one egg but it looked like it setbokay. Thanks for sharing
I make a version of this and our bunch loves it so much! The only difference is that we an one block of cream cheese with the butter softened. Its beautiful! You made me hungry
Do you think the half & half made the butter firm up again? Did you have to keep it in the fridge rather than let it stand at room temp like your butter? Sometimes it’s like working out a science experiment isn’t it? You do have the most interesting recipes Linda, this is another new one on me.
Oh Linda, even the way you made it would be a dessert to us. That is just sweet enough for our taste. I have to agree with Sam that is would be like a pineapple upside down cake. Only it’s a “mixed up pineapple upside down, inside out cake”! I love it!

This is a beautiful dish! It will definitely be a great addition to Thanksgiving or Christmas. You never fail to make me want to try your recipes. My nephew just got married and his precious wife loves to cook so along with their gift I gave her some of my favorite recipes. Many of them came from you Linda.
