  7. Love the video….I like sourdough bread, going to make some as soon as it’s not so hot out!, It’s a great bread for stews and soups and makes the best grilled cheese sandwich ! Have a blessed evening.

  8. Yes Ma’am, don’t pop those bubbles. LOL, my mom use to get so upset with me. OH well, now I know why. Love me some sour dough bread, but waiting till cooler weather starts. Thank you so much. Blessings to you and family.

  9. Lori, you always make me want to get in the kitchen and get busy cooking! . It’ll be fun to watch you using the wood cook stove. Thank you for yet another wonderful video.

  10. Ms Lori I’m so glad you did this video. I know that bread is delicious. Thank you. God bless you and Mr. Brown.

  11. I make my bread the same way, but I’ve never tried making sourdough. One of these days I’ll have to try making the starter.

  12. Sourdough is my favorite! You made it look so easy, I think I will try to start making my own. Thanks for the videos!

  13. Loved your beginning montage❣️ we used to have an old wood cook stove in our cabin. Loved cooking on that old thing more than anything. Looking forward to see what you cook!

  14. Love listening to your calming voice. When I take a break from this Keto diet, this is the bread I’m going to make first.

  15. I want to comment in all due respect. I do not add salt until the last rise. I love this channel: just wanna help.

  16. A new baking project!!! BTW Lori, I bough some split chicken breasts the other day and used your recipe with the Italian dressing over night and then rinsed the next day and fried that chicken and we agree, that was the tastiest juiciest chicken I have ever made! Another winner. LOL, my hubby thinks I can finally cook!

  17. Lovely. I have a recipe using yeast where you leave the bread overnight in the Dutch oven in the fridge then put it in an off oven. Switch the oven on and cook the bread. Best bread I have made

  18. I can smell that and I know its out of this world good. I use to make bread all the time BUT something happen to my pants Ha Ha Loved all the pictures great video.

  19. I’m excited to try this recipe!! What state do I need my starter? I keep it in the fridge all week before feeding it, do I need to feed the discard before using it?

  20. I absolutely love sourdough bread. Reminds me of when I was a youngster and we would eat sourdough toast. All the best. Suanne

  21. Oh that bread looks so good. I had never tried a sourdough. I will now though. Thank you Mrs Brown and happy weekend and God bless you all

  22. I’ve never used a starter…only yeast breads…now you’ve got me setting off to do it this way, Ms. Lori..,thank you, sweet lady…I love when you share your time and talents with us!! xo

  23. Oh my I wonder if you sing a lullaby to the dough before it takes it’s rest! Nice . Shaggy is a great word for the dough. The picture of sausage gravy over biscuits made me remember the sausage gravy over grits. And black eye gravy over eggs! Blessings

  24. Love your videos! They remind me of many good times cooking with my Nan, who passed away in 2016. I just started getting into baking bread and will have to try your recipe as soon as my starter matures! xoxo <3

  25. Love your intro, it’s calming, but a bit long. Although I am a recent subscriber, I really love and watch all your videos. Thank you.

  26. 1/2 cup of yogurt, 1/2 buttermilk or regular milk and 1/2 flour. Her tips about her starter is in her sourdough waffles video. ♥️
Love me some Mrs Lori. She is such a jewel!

  27. Oh I am so glad you put this recipe out, I have been looking for an easier way to make this ,it’s my son’s favorite bread 😀

  29. I am enjoying your vlog so much. My sister and I were just talking about wanting to find a good sourdough starter. Thank you for your time and interest in helping others.

  30. I’ve not made or used a starter before so I used your easy bread recipe with yeast but baked it using the method here. It turned out excellent. We also made a pizza with it. It was really good. I will never have to buy crusty bread again! It was so easy to do and the rest is in the fridge for later this week. Thanks Lori!

  31. This is all I have baked for over a year now, sourdough! Although, I make mine in loaf pans, raise twice and it is like store bought sliced bread. Without all of the preservatives, much healthier and really SOUR!

  32. Wonderful video Mrs Lori and excellent info on the history of sourdough bread!! You and Mr Brown have a good Sunday!! Dan
