How to cook Heather’s Protein Pancakes

Here is the recipe
Here’s what you’ll need:

1/2 cup pure pumpkin

1 scoop protein powder (Quest salted carmel)

1 cup egg whites

1/2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp cinnamon

Here’s what you’ll do:
Mix all ingredients in a bowl and pour into a heated pan. Cook just like you would a regular pancake. I usually make one large pancake and it takes a while to cook, but you could make several small pancakes instead, if you want it to cook faster. You can cover the pancake with your favorite toppings. Personally, I use sugar-free pancake syrup.

all right another wonderful half-size meto do this one is about cooking proteinpancakes so the first thing I do is Itend to put my oven on kind of like amedium setting okayget the pan nice and hot to touch andthen I give it a little spray with somePam and in my frying pan I’m gonna putabout half of my pancake mix so heregoes my pancake mix and you’re gonnahear the sizzle okay and I apologize I’mdoing this one-handed but what you’llimmediately notice is a search to bubbleand what we want to do is let the oneside sear oftentimes I’ll have clientsor people say to me how they I have ahard time turning these over what’s thetrick to that so I’m kind of gonna walkyou through this process a little bitand show you what I do as a perfect whenmy clients was funny she says I feellike I’m eating scrambled pancake eggsso there’s a trick to getting it to formright so the what you’ll notice is seehow it’s bubbling on the top that’s verysimilar or kin to a normal pancake butwhat you’re looking for is what’shappening right here with my spatulawhere it’s just easily pulling up andit’s kind of seared on the bottom sideand then we’re gonna let it cook andwhat’s gonna happen is it’s gonna tendto cook around the perimeteronce the perimeter is pretty well setyou can even see it starting right herewhere it’s looking like it’s gettingcooked but the center will stay prettywet for a while once the perimeter ispretty well cooked what we want to doand we’ll see if I can do thisone-handed without holding onto the panus slide your special under pick it upand turn it you see how I did that itwas like I draped it over once you dothat you’ll see here you’ve got a littlethat’s still not cooked but that’s okayit will all cook at the end but this istypically which when do you get the panreally nice and hot spray it sear theone side wait till it starts to cookaround the perimeter then very gentlypick it up it’s almost like you’refolding a sheet over you fold it overand then it will cook the rest of theway and this pancake will come outreally really well I’ll let it cookuntil all of this liquid it becomes morelike a pancake and then I’ll pull it offthe panyou guys have a great day good luck withyour protein pancakes
