If you know me, you know I’m good for my hearty breakfast meals, my cornbread, chicken & dumplings, yams & more lol! We didn’t add as many items to our menu this year but Brazil, Paris & I made breakfast for Daddy on Father’s Day! Wanna know what was on the menu, how to make it, as well as, see how we spent the rest of our day??

2019 Father’s Day Menu:
(family of 4)
✨Buttermilk Pancakes:
1/2 the box
Water
Vanilla extract or flavor
Cinnamon (optional)
Butter
✨French Toast Casserole:
2 cans of Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls
Cream Cheese (to mix in with the icing)
2 eggs
Vanilla extract or flavor
Milk (Almond is our preference)
✨Cheese Eggs:
18 eggs (the kids love eggs)
Mild sharp cheddar (shredded)
Milk (makes eggs fluffy)
Salt (Pink Himalayan Salt)
Black pepper
Butter
✨Bacon:
We normally eat Turkey Bacon but pork was easy to access🤦🏽♀️😩
Cooked in the oven because I don’t like getting burned 😩
✨Turkey Sausage:
Split down the middle & cut into pieces, boiled for 30-45m in a frying pan then added butter to fry & brown
✨Southern Style Cheese Grits:
1/3 the container of grits SLOWLY poured into a pot with 6-8 cups of boiling water & stirred with a whisk to avoid clumping
Pink Himalayan Salt
Black Pepper
Butter
‼️COOK LONGER THAN WHAT’S LISTED ON THE CONTAINER! I cooked my grits the entire time I was making breakfast‼️
1 & 1/2 cups of Mild sharp cheddar cheese
(Adding cheese thickens the grits as well)
They’ll be nice & creamy, not loose & watery!!
