Learn how to make homemade buttermilk pancakes from scratch with this easy and simple recipe.
1 1/2 Cups Whole Wheat Flour (180g)
1 Teaspoon Baking Powder (5g)
1/4 Teaspoon Baking Soda (1.25g)
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract (5ml)
2 Tablespoons Olive Oil (30ml)
3 Tablespoons Honey (45ml)
1 Cup Buttermilk (240ml)
1. In a mixing bowl whisk together the flour, baking powder, and baking soda. In another bowl, combine the eggs, vanilla, oil, honey, and buttermilk; whisk together until well combined. Add the egg mixture to the dry ingredients and mix just until combined. Do not overmix.
2. Heat a pan over medium-low heat and grease with cooking spray. Spoon batter onto the pan, spread out into a circle if necessary. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes, or until edges are dry and surface bubbles. Flip pancake and cook on the other side. Repeat process with the rest of the batter.
