ASMR Cooking Lemon Ricotta Pancakes with Praline Sauce and Blueberry Compote



Today we are going to make some delicious Lemon Ricotta Pancakes with a rich praline sauce, and paired with sweet blueberry compote. We also brew up a nice hot cup of Illy black coffee and go through all the ingredients/preparation while I teach you how to make it all yourself step by step.

The sizzling of the pan and sauces, the sounds of baking, and cooking pancakes fill the air in this cooking ASMR!

Also I mentioned we will be using Blackberries in the video, but I switched it to blueberries since I tend to like the flavors more for Bluebery compote instead!

hey how’s that going therereally good to see you good morningwelcome to my channel for those who arenew and for those returning it’s good tosee you okayso today I wanted to do something alittle bit different than I usually doand I wanted to maybe make it a littlemore simple than I usually do so todaywe’re going to make some pancakesactually some lemon buttermilk pancakeswith a blackberry compote and a reallydelicious praline sauce so we will goahead and go through the ingredients andcook up some pancakes for breakfast solet’s start by reading a few of theingredients that we’re going to be usingso we have 2 eggs 1 tablespoon ofgranulated sugar 1 cup of buttermilk 4tablespoons of butter 1 tablespoon ofvanilla extract 2 and a quarter teaspoonof baking powderone cup of berries for the compote somesugar for that two and a quarterteaspoons of baking powder 1/2 tbsp formaking soda so we’re gonna put that alltogether yeah we’re gonna go from thereso let’s grab our utensils and some ofour ingredients and let’s start so we’regonna oh wowso let’s put into our compound somethingseparate and and finally ricotta cheese- let’s meet our ideahey that’s my chair so maybe we’re gonnabe safety net to make it nice and floppyyou’re gonna want as well some vanillaBob some vanilla as well as some oilalso some baking powder it’s just gonnagive rise to the back aches so we haveour green sugar sugar next we will needsome pants to mix our audience and theband cakes as wellso I think the most important thing fora delicious pancake is to really focuson perfecting each and every step soalthough it is a simple ingredients Ithink really focusing and perfectingeach step can really bring out thefluffiness and the deliciousness of theBAM cake so today we’re going to startby mixing the dry ingredients and thenmixing the wet ingredients as well asseparating the egg yolks as well becausewe’re gonna whisk that into a fluffy alittle bit later so while we do thatwe’re going to put together a deliciousberry compote which is just sugar waterand in this case we’re gonna useblackberries so while we do that we willalso make a delicious caramel adelicious eat praline sauce so it shouldbe very delicious let’s go ahead andstart the process and we’ll separate theegg yolks and then go to the wet and dryingredients and mix it all together andsee how that goes all right let’s goso first let’s wash our hands cleanbeforewe can get our tape started I’ll havesome beans here from youbrewing let’s put our ground coffee intothe grinder in the machinenow we’re ready to make our pancakesfirstly we have to crack our eggs yeahonce we do that I’m going to gentlyseparate the yolk from the egg whitesI found a spoon was best for thislet’s drop the yolk into the othernow we’re going to whisk our egg whitesto our pancakes of fluffy so now that wehave separated the eggs we’re going totake the dry gradients the flour and thebaking powdersplash of nutmeg and we are going to mixit together a little bit anddisapper pull then we’re going to takeour wet ingredients for egg yolks andalso our vanilla and I like to put in asplash of ricotta cheese as well to adda little spongy moistness so we’re goingto start with the dry and then now I’mgonna take our baking soda 1/2 teaspoonand 2 and 1/4 teaspoon of baking powdernext a splash of not mealso a tablespoon of granulated sugarnext we want to take our flower and Idon’t have a sifter so so now that we’vemixed our dry ingredients let’s go aheadand put together our wet ingredients andthen we’re going to take our dough andwe’re gonna put it in the refrigeratorbecause the baking powder has a chemicalreaction which actually makes thepancake more fluffy so we want to get itabout 15 minutes after it’s finished toallow for some time for the pancakes torise be very moist just when we putbutter on it it’ll be like eating intofluffy hair so let’s go ahead and finishup with the wet ingredients and thatwill put our dough in the fridge I can’twait sounds delicious all rightyso now let’s mix our wet ingredientstake some buttermilk I don’t one cup I’mgoing to take a scoop of cottage cheeseI don’t wanna make it too moistand we’re going to our vanilla and aboutteaspoon into our first we take ourmelted butter gently into the mix gentlywhisk that batternot too much don’t over mix it’s veryimportant so then we’re going to pour inour egg into the dry ingredients startup with just got 1/3 of the whites nowit would make time dry and wetingredient and we want to stir it gentlynot too much I want to leave some clumpsyou want to mix um the rest of the airCosmoI’ll stir everything together gently notagain don’t over stir now I want to cutour lemon and squeeze a little bit ofthe juice into the mixture just uhsqueeze I just want to continue makingas everall right so now we mixed the go aheadand track radiance and we’re gonna putthis in the fridge and then see okay sonow that’s in the fridge let’s work onour compote and our praline songs so forthe compote we’re just going to take ourblackberries and pour most of them inwith some water and sugar and a splashof lemon juice and then we sprinkle somesweetnessthe pack cook slowlymix pour a little water on there sothat’s two it is like I’m staring atblueberries a little bit furtherso as you can see the gumbo just cooksfor a little bit and we’re gonna goahead and a splash of confectionerssugar some people add some orange starchas well no because usually chopped andthis is all that might or notand of course you don’t want to happy asgradually but I’m gonna gently stir thismixture so you will see a light browncolor so people had some other things tothis but I try to keep it very naturaland of course continue to stir yourberries as well to make sure that theycooked right away you can see the saucehas started to combine a little higherand cookthe public sauce very relaxedslowly sauce bubblestall reach as I call them I’m gonna parkabout them to the containeryou know overcook it do you want to be abit chunky so that’s – and then we takeour brilliantvery gentlenext we’re gonna make our pancakes sonow that we are all finished we shouldgo ahead and cook these and the trickhere now at cooking our pancakes ismaking sure you have a hot stove so wetest this by flicking water on tostovetop to see if it steams up and weknow it’s going to be hot enough solet’s do that and then we can slowlycook our pancakes delicious meal so I’mgonna turn off dye Heatso I’m gonna get it really hot before weturn it down again a test is to splashwater onto the pan in eventthis also our pan looks readyI’ll spray some the oil under the panyou can use butter as well you want toselect the pan this won’t stick andgives it a nice nice brown now we’regonna scoop our pancake gently that gavea circle be able to use a little shaperto make it into a circle but just do arough this sort of lean the pan tocreate a or even shape and unless cakeor flatand listen to the gentle sounds of thedengue cookin on the skillet and getready to flip our bad guys well notquite ready if I feel a little to himlook we can just flip it usually youjust want to flip it just for once thisinstance though it’s a bit extra fluffyand thick so and we get to flatten youcan see in the cold and brown color ofthe pancake means it’s basically readystill holding two more pancakes greaseour pan and scoop out anotherand we move the pancake let’s makescooping some of the doughI wanna cook Curtis a few moments untilwe’re ready to flipgently the dough Rises and one pink leftbeen feeling golden brown color I’mgonna pancake is basically ready to gogolden brown color the pancake and thatis already one more pan game spray withoil and one more scoop can we slip intoa circleyou can see the dome on the rising andmoving short momentsand there’s a little bit of telling thatSATs will flip it just one more timethis pancake is turning I think thisreally go onto our plate and just ontoour plate the rest now we’re gonna putsome butter onto our pancakesI have no so they’re extra moist andjuicy and next we’re going to put ourpraline sauce on top of our pancakesjust a couple scoops should do it just alittle bit on top and on the sideand now already hmm I was worth itgoodbye well that was a really deliciousdelicious meal and I’m so glad you couldjoin me for another these pancakes wereamazing I had not eaten for a while forthe save myself repeat yourself that allsaid I’m gonna go eat the rest of themand and have a nice big nap so I hopethat you’re having a
