[Music]hello friends lanten’s is coming up andI’m sure we are all excitedwell we are definitely gonna be spendingValentine’s Day with the people or thepets that we love and I’ll be spendingValentine’s Day with the bunnies in themorning and then my husband in theevening so I thought let me makesomething special for the bunnies forValentine’s Day so I’m gonna show youhow to make these no big Timothy heycookies for your bunnies and they don’thave a very long shelf life so I suggestthe day you make them you either givethem to your bunnies that day or maximumkeep it for a day after so let’s startwe first take a cup and a corner of goodquality timothy hay pellets and to getthem soft we have to add a little bit ofwater now you can have the water alittle at a time because we need thecookie to form properly since we are notgoing to be making them a good qualitytimothy hay pellet will absorb water andbecome soft within 5 to 7 minutes so Ithink this much of water should beenough that would have been around maybesay six to eight tablespoons and thenand the reason I bang gloves is becauseI just want to respect what I’m doingfor my rabbits and I want it to be ashygienic as can be as you can see thetimothy hay pellets have started toabsorb water now and they will swell upvery soon and become soft so that I canmove them and then we will come backafter 5 minutes and check on the statusand then I will show you the steps tofollowso here I am back after approximatelyfive to seven minutesand as you can see the timothy haypellets have absorbed the water a niceday and can be molded into cookie shapesbut I still have to add a few moreingredients I will be dividing thisdough into two parts because I’ll bemaking two flavors of cookies which I’llbe showing you so my bunnies havedifferent tastes one like still one likestrawberries sometimes they likestrawberries and dill together so youcan use whatever you want whatever yourbunny likes opal first because allbunnies don’t like them but I’m sure allbunnies like strawberry if they aresweet so it’s good to taste them beforeyou give them to your bunny so let’smake the first batch of cookies see verynice small build Oh we’ll make the firstbatch of cookies with dill I havechopped up the dill nice and finely asyou can see here add some dill to thecookies that gives a nice aroma and moldthem and keep kneading the dough becausethere may be some hard pellets still atthe base which I can feel now but that’sokay because there is still enough waterto get it absorb so let’s knead thedough nicely with the bill andeverythingyeah the reason why I took little extraTimothy here pellets is because since weare not baking these cookies when youput the cookie cutter into the doughsometimes the cookie tends to break sowe need to be careful about that Oh seeI added to do and now I’m gonna transferthis dough onto a flat plate I take aflat plate back transfer the cookiedough this is so much fun making it ohwowI hope my bunnies will enjoy I have madeit in the past and they did enjoy it soit’s very kind of a foolproof recipe andthen you press the dough flat onto theplate like this and make an even layerwe can even layer not very thin and notvery thick either should be maybe aroundsay 1 centimeter 1 centimeter thickyeah that’s done see that’s the way itshould be now so these are the dill andtimothy hay cookies now we take thecookie cutter the heart-shaped cookiecutter and we press it into the cookielike that like that just hold it for twoseconds or three seconds and then pullit out so here you get the heart-shapedcookie no babe that’s how easy it is nowall you have to do is just gently pressit out of the cookie mold onto the plateon which you wanna give it to yourbunnies so I’m gonna do that right nowthis is the tricky part you have to be alittle patient otherwise we cook in mybreak oh that’s a perfect cookie sothere you see Fred that’s a perfectheart-shaped cookie that is timothy hayand there i hope i’m holding it closeenough and if you see any cracks ispress it down with your hand like thatand in a couple of minutes it will dryup enough and it’s a soft cookie so yourbunnies will enjoy it anyway so i’mgonna do the rest of the dill cookiesand then i’ll come back and show you howto do the strawberry ones so i’m backand after shaping the heart-shapedcookies i got out eight but i’ve justkept four on the plate and these aredill and- hey no baked cookies for your bunnyrabbits for man tens day and I put a fewsprigs of dill to get cocoa – as it’sgoing to work as an appetizer and to gether to eat the cookies will she willanyway because she just loves them andgive it some time to try and see howbeautiful they are they all heart-shapeway easy to make hardly took much timeand now we will start with the secondbatch of cookies the strawberryflavoured ones now if you find that thedough has become a little dried out youcan add a little bit of water I thinkI’ll just add maybe a tablespoon ofwater to help it to get easily mold itinto shape again so I added a tablespoonof water now I’m kneading the doughagain to make a pallet do if you findthen your timothy hay pellets are nonabsorbing water and not becoming softthen they are not good quality timothyhay bells I was using a timothy hayparrot in the past and when i used topour water on it it never used to getsoft in a hurry so you can just imaginewhat it’s doing to your rabbits intostein so try to find another one whichis good so now the dough has becomeperfect and I am gonna add thestrawberry back to it aye-aye-ayeyou can’t say i pureed it but i blend itwhy to medium-sized strawberries in theblender separately if you are using theblender for other things and i requestyou to please not use it for makingmoney treats and that’s probably whyyour bunny is not eating the treats thatyou make so keep this one attachment forthe bunny and when you want to maketreatsuse that small attachment to do whateveryou have to now we add the strawberrypath to this oh wow look at that itlooks and smells so goodI don’t mind tasting it but I won’t dothat because Timothy happens I don’tthink that a nice to taste so but youcan see the blending process going onover here it’s just awesome I’m soexcited for my bunnies is the least thatI can do I really I love baking but Ifind it’s very time consuming and it’sgoing to be time for the bunnies to comeout and play very soon so I thought letme just keep these treats for them youknow and I can just make it again onValentine’s Day it’ll hardly take 30minutes so they’re totally worth itnow the reason why I kept the powdertimothy hay powder is i added water themixture has become slightly wet betterthan I need so I’m going to add a littlebit of tough timothy hay powder just alittle to dry it out again because i hadto add water to get it molded but now Iadded powder to get it to the absoluteconsistency that I wantso you need the door nicely again likethat and this will give a slight hint ofstrawberries because as you know youcan’t give you a bun in too manystrawberries to eat in a day rightI’ll just get a flat plate and come backsoon so I’m back with the flat plate andwe’re gonna transfer the cookie dough ohI feel so nice to say cookie dough thatit’s really something to make treats forbunnies you know I had gone to Bahrainrecently and I had bought so many treatsfor my bunnies from there and they werepretty expensive and they rejected allof them I said why not make them at homeyou know I will try baking treats lateron alright so now we get the flatteneddough for the strawberry cookies andthen you do the same thing you just youjust press the heart shape mold into thedough like that yeahso I press them all down into the cookiedough the strawberry and the Timothy heypellet cookie dough and I pull it outand it comes out clean like that it mustcome outit must not remain on the plate becauseif it remains on the platethat means it’s going to be difficult tohold and so in the same process I put Iput the cookie cutter into the cookiedough and got these I got six in totalof the strawberry and Timothy hey parrotvials and I put those strawberries isfor garnish so that the bunnies get thearoma of the strawberry and get excitedand there you have it this is strawberryand Timothy Hey and we have the dill andTimothy hey cookies as well and now veryexcited to give them to the bunniesthey’ll be coming out at 4 p.m. for playand I’ll take a video and show you theirreaction I hope you enjoyed watching itand they’re super easy to make andplease please don’t make the effort ofmaking this for your bunnies becausethere won’t be a better way of saying Ilove you happy Valentine’s Day
