so as for my house we are going to be
starting off in my sunroom which is
pretty messy right now I have a bunch of
stuff in the corner there that we had to
quickly pull in the other night because
it started pouring so we have bocce ball
we have that box full of fire starter or
kindling whatever and then I have bags
full of curtains that I was using for
our pop-up camper renovation I will link
those videos if you’re interested

that clock if you’re into my DIYs you
will have seen that in my last DIY him
this is a basket that I got from a
garage sale I think I got it for like 2
bucks I thought it would be awesome for
storage or also to put our Christmas
tree in as a base and I had to show you
this pillow my mom just recently gave it
to me it’s pretty hairy right now don’t
mind that I will have to get the cat
hair off of it but my mom made that for
me because I’m really into yoga
so I’m going to be quiet for a while and
let you enjoy some cleaning

actually I wanted to show you the plants
that I have I am a crazy plant lady that
is my new eucalyptus plant I’m hoping
that gets pretty big I’m not sure the
names of plants but I just I love them
that one’s from my mom these are ones I
actually have to put outside I have to
trim them and put them in the ground
because they are not liking the little
planter that they’re in
and now I’m going to start cleaning up
the kitchen before I start baking
in our kitchen isn’t fully finished yet
we still have to put the cupboards in
around the refrigerator but this whole
kitchen my husband made all the
cabinet’s for I kind of designed the
layout of the kitchen and we just kind
of took our time doing this because
there’s no way we could have afforded to
redo our kitchen if we bought cabinets
so I did a lot of Craigslist shopping
for like the the cupboard knobs and all
that I also have I also have a playlist
for our kitchen renovation and you’ll
have if you go back and watch those the
beginning ones you’ll have to excuse the
loud music I was still fairly new at
YouTube and I guess didn’t realize I had
to turn down the music but it will kind
of show the progression of our kitchen
but we still have to do the backsplash
we have to redo the floors I’m going to
go with a little bit darker floor so
yeah I’m liking it so far
so as far as my channel goes I had put
out a little questionnaire type thing
on one of my last videos asking if I
should do if I should bring back the
cleaning and cooking videos to this
channel or if I should start a new one
because originally that’s how I started
was a cleaning channel and it slowly
kind of turned into a DIY channel which
I’m really thrilled about because I love
doing DIYs but also wanted to add in
just a little you know a little change
here and there and for the most part
most people wanted to see some cleaning
videos cooking videos that type of thing
added to this channel there were a
couple of you they asked that I put it
on a new channel and eventually once I
get more time I will probably do that if
it seems like people are liking it but
for now I’ll just do when I do a
cleaning or cooking video I will put it
in its own playlist that way it’s
separate and you don’t have to go
digging for the ones you’re searching
for
so I’m sorry for any of you that don’t
like the cleaning videos I will still
have just as many DIYs because I love
doing those like I said I just wanted to
add in a little bit of change here and
there

and for anybody that is interested these
candles that I have this one is called
fall harvest it is part of the fall
align that antique candle company has
out right now and they were nice enough
to send me these and I will put the link
in my description box if you are
interested in checking those out I think
they are amazing I said this before in a
couple of my videos I like these because
I typically can’t burn candles without
getting a headache or same with my son
he gets a headache his throat starts
jardines with his mind so I was thrilled
when I contacted antique you know
company because I wanted a sample of
their candle just to see if maybe this
maybe I could burn these because I can’t
do bath and Bodyworks I can’t do Yankee
Candles there’s so many candles I can’t
burn so I was thrilled when I found
these and wanted to show you guys in
case any of you have the same problem I
do here is our coffee bar I can’t wait
to decorate it this year this is new to
us as of a few months ago we just put it
in so I’m really excited to decorate it
for the holidays and this this candle
holder I found a while ago when I was
going to brush ales with my mom and I
thought I would pick it up and probably
throw some paint on there and change it
up so that it matches my decor
so one thing I found with having white
cabinets now I used to have what
cabinets of having white cabinets I have
to wash them a lot more and I just use
this mrs. Meyer spray on them and it
works great
so onto the baking part of the video
which is my favorite I thought I would
make some chocolate chip cookies but
they’re not really chocolate chip
cookies they’re made with gluten-free
flour because my son
can’t have a lot of gluten and I’m
allergic to chocolate so I’m using carob
chips which to me tastes like chocolate
but I haven’t had it in years so I don’t
know my husband says it’s not an exact
match but it will work for people who
used to have chocolate and still want it
but can’t so I think it’s really tasty
anyway and I never made them into
cookies so this is an experiment and
this flour that’s gluten free flour it’s
actually a 1/2 1/4 all-purpose flour so
it works great for baking and it’s
pretty much the same consistency as
other flours
and if you’re wanting this recipe all I
did was take the regular Nestle
Tollhouse chocolate-chip cookie recipe
and kind of did a one-to-one with the
flour that I was using in the carob
chips except I only did one cup of carob
chips it called for two cups of
chocolate chips but it was that would
have just been a little bit too much I
think

so the carob chips are similar to
chocolate chips they’re just a lot
flatter so they’re a little bit bigger
around I guess but they’re super good
and I like to use an ice cream scoop
when doing the cookie dough cause it
kind of keeps um more consistent than
just eyeballing them
I was super excited when they turned out
that I was wasn’t sure if they would you
know turn out flattened or whatever but
I think they turned out great for the
first time using this flower and the
carob chips and I used to be able to get
the carob chips at Whole Foods but for
some reason they don’t carry them and
Trader Joe’s doesn’t carry them I know
you can order them online but I found
mine at a local natural food store
so here I’m just finishing up cleaning
up the kitchen I need to break it up a
little bit here and there because I had
some errands and stuff to run so I’m
just cleaning up our little Peninsula
area or island and you see that door in
the background that I was so excited
like I said I do a lot of shopping
online I’m like Craigslist and stuff
like that for things for our kitchen in
our house because you know I’d like to
save money but anyway that door in the
background I found on Craigslist it was
$10 and we’re actually going to be
putting that in I don’t know if you saw
the doorway but it’s the doorway from
our kitchen to our laundry room and I
think it’ll be so cool I want to kind of
frost the glass and then you know maybe
put like laundry room or something on
the door and the glass part I think
that’ll be really pretty

so for my stainless-steel appliances
mostly I just use you know warm water
and a little bit of dish soap but
sometimes it’s just warm water on a rag
and I wipe those down because in the you
know pamphlet that I got was that I got
with appliances it said to not use
sprays and stuff on him because I would
ruin the finish so that’s pretty much
what I use to clean them and then like I
said for my cabinets I just used the
mrs. Myers or a method cleaner because I
I try to use more natural products or as
natural as I can get

you here’s the after I wish I would have
got an after shot of my sunroom but you
kind of saw that I had cleaned it up I
couldn’t run the vacuum because my kids
were still sleeping so I will do that
and then I will mop the floors so thanks
