hey guys welcome back to my channel sotoday we’re gonna be making this and thebang cookie from the bun bakery in NewYork sorry I’m Josh or Wiseman’s channela week or two ago and I was like this isinsane it’s like a big big cookie soalso with this game cookie episode I’mgonna be launching this like cookieseries this series was inspired byanother youtuber Pro home cooks who dida series on sandwiches so like the bestsandwiches from around the world and Ithought I was like it was really cool tosee so I want to try and do that withcookies and see what else I can find outalone so I’m going to be looking at likethe best cookies from around the worldso like obviously the levan cookie willbe the first episode so tune in eachweek to see what the next cookie I’ll bemaking is I’ll be dropping some hintsdown on Instagram too and maybe Facebookso and if you have any suggestionsplease let me know in the comments belowlet’s goso to get started you need to mix 280grams of brown sugar and 115 grams ofcaster sugar in a large bowl then add280 grams of cooled melted butter usinga whisk or honest and mix and mix onhigh speed until nice and smoothalternating between the whole egg andthe egg yolk slowly add to the butterand sugar mixture until well combinedthen in another bowl mix all the dryingredients so this is 500 grams ofplain flour 6 grams of baking soda and 8grams of corn flour and make sure theyare thoroughly combined gently fold inthe dry ingredients until combinedin the meantime way-out 450 grams ofdark chocolate I use Cadbury’s dark milkwhich is a good combination of both butyou can also use just milk chocolatethis is totally optional but you canalso add 150 grams of chopped mixed nutsso I use the combination of peanutsalmonds and walnuts be sure to fold itin using actually in your hand and donot put it on high speed on you mix itbecause as you can see maybe broke mymachine then you’re going to let thedough chill for at least 40 minutes toan hour then weigh out each cookie to beat least 6 ounces which is roughly 180grams and place on a baking sheet coverand place in the fridge for another halfan hour to 45 minutes before bakingplace for on a tray and place in a 220degrees oven or gas mark 7 for 10 to 13minutes cookies that I promised lookingback on it I spoke to my friend who’s abaker and she recommended that they needto chill overnightfor a lot longer I only did 40 minutesand then an extra 25 one shaved but sherecommended at least a day so so why Iended up doing was I let them chill forabout two days two and a half days ishmany because I wanted to chill himovernight but then I kind of got busywith some other stuff so after these twodays I took him out and I baked toportray because I have kind of quitesmall trays so I did tube bed tray andoh my godas soon as that timer went off I was sohappy because there were nice andgolden-brown they were nice and tallthey didn’t like merge into each otherlike melt or whatever the other lastcookies did and they tasted amazing[Music]so thank you guys so much for watchingthe recipe will be linked down below andfollow me on my social media myInstagram Twitter and Facebook pageslinked down below be sure to head overto my website to check out any otherrecipes and I’ll be continuing thisseries so stay tuned for more
