🍪SOFT PUMPKIN OATMEAL CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE RECIPE🍪
INGREDIENTS

1 1/2 CUPS BUTTER, SOFTENED
2 CUPS. PACKED BROWN SUGAR
1 CUP WHITE SUGAR
1 (15 OUNCE) CAN OF PUMPKIN PUREE
1 EGG
1 tsp VANILLA EXTRACT
4 CUPS ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
2 CUPS QUICK COOKING OATS
2 tsp GROUND CINNAMON
2 tsp BAKING SODA
1 tsp BAKING POWDER
1 tsp SALT
2 CUPS MINI CHOCOLATE CHIPS
1 CUP. CHOPPED WALNUTS (OPTIONAL)

DIRECTIONS

1. PRE HEAT OVEN TO 375 DEGREES F (190 DEGREES C)
2. BEAT BUTTER, BROWN SUGAR AND WHITE SUGAR IN A LARGE
BOWL UNTIL CREAMY. ADD PUMPKIN, EGG AND VANILLA EXTRACT
UNTIL SMOOTH
3. IN A SEPARATE BOWL MIX FLOUR, OATS, CINNAMON, BAKING SODA, BAKING POWDER, SALT
4. GRADUALLY ADD DRY INGREDIENTS TO THE CREAMED BUTTER BOWL UNTIL WELL MIXED
5. FOLD CHOCOLATE CHIPS INTO BATTER UNTIL WELL MIXED
6. DROP 1 TABLESPOON OF BATTER INTO NON GREASED COOKIE SHEET
7. BAKE FOR 10-12 MINUTES OR UNTIL THE EDGES OF COOKIES ARE LIGHT BROWN

hey hey everyone welcome back to ourChannel as you can see it’s Christmasand it’s Christmas Eve so last year wedid a gingerbread a gingerbread houseright and this year we’re going to bakeour family’s favorite Christmas bakedgood I guess and it happens to bepumpkin oatmeal chocolate chip cookiesso we’re going to go through the recipewith you all and hopefully you enjoy itas much as we enjoy eating read through and I’llput the recipe below in the descriptionif you want to maybe make it foryourself and there are a few things thatI modified from the original recipe andI’ll tell you what those are as we goalong so first things first we shouldheat up the oven so the oven needs to beset at 375 so I will do that or 190degrees Celsius so he’s going to set itat 375 for us oh it’s warm warm warmbecause I have been vacant all day we’rebaking cookies every year we kind ofchoose something like squares or or cutout cookie as you know like snowman’sand stars and all that and this herejust so happens to just be cookies sowe’re just making a whole lot ofdifferent hats cookies no no that way wedon’t get bored of what we’re makingevery Christmas if you know what I meanand that’s why we’re dressed casualwe’re baking so I already got my otherhoodie hoodie yeah she turned up themixer I turned it up and everything fleweverywhere and it was like a disasteryep it was funny though he was coveredin white a was hilarious a let’s youdidn’t think it was flurries okay sothese are like I said you can call thempumpkin chocolate chip oatmeal cookiessee if she knows it’s not gonna be herewhile we’re baking cuz around foodthat’s no good but she wanted to saymerry Chris[Music]case you know you go play go away Ohbefore we do anything I’ll be right backcuz I just touch the dog and I gotta gowash my hands saying okay so we went towatch her hands we’re back because yacan’t do nothing without clean handsdon’t like germs germs I see I have abit of a phobia okay stop this quiettalk too much we can do a lot of AP didit turn off okay so to make thingseasier like I said we got everythingorganized in whatever so the first thingyou do is the dry ingredients and whatwe’re gonna do is we have like I saidthe ingredients I’ll measure it out sothat we don’t have to sit here onscoopski forget annoying so the firstthing we’re going to do is put the flourand the flour is four cups I get the cupand I use a spoon and I put it in theredog hop on it dude you’re gonna make theflour everything no no I kept themthat’s s yeah don’t do thatokay so no pretty time okay the nextthing you’re gonna add is the oats andthe oats is two cups of quick oats Isuppose he’s good he’s goodthe next thing we’re gonna add now thisis where things get a little bit too bitcomplicated dry ingredients we don’t addno pumpkin at this point that would belike nah dad still reading I’m readingcuz you know how it works right mixflour oats cinnamon okay so that’s notcinnamon spot is this where Dianemodified there’s the recipe we like alot of spices so for this recipe itcalled for a teaspoon of cinnamoncinnamon well a teaspoon for this amountlike for cops and to cut it didn’t haveany flavor like it was really bad so Iwent and I bought pumpkin pie spice nowyou can buy it not it I’ve been able tobuy it in the most remote places so andyou can look online and you can make ityourself actuallyno ingredient in it that’s hard to findbut I actually like that so I put atablespoon of that in here and I justsprinkle it in and this is not even inthe recipe at all I will put what Imodified it with though in like belowthe recipe then I still add morecinnamon satting well it cost for twodudes we like us some cinnamon for youdon’t have to do this this is like ourmodification and I want to show you howwe do it and then I’ll give you theproper light legs oh I just stood on okso he said baking powder and bakingpowder it’s one teaspoon we don’t knowwhat yes I do this is baking powder andyou just sprinkle it on top like thatthe next thing we’re going to do is andI don’t know why he moved it see whatthey are baking soda it’s two teaspoonsand that would be this one you go likethis you sprinkle it on top like all therest and then the salt which is oneteaspoon sprinkle that on there now thisis what I do to mix these up because ifyou’re just gonna plop them into thecontainer kind of get whatever so I justget a regular egg beater thing and Ijust move things over in there and itgoes through everything really smoothlyon the I don’t stir it like that oh Imessed up already basically I just golike this can you guys see that and itmakes this there we go Oh doesn’t mattermix is everything all up nice so thateverything is kind of that the spicesare all mixed and there’s not gonna beone bite of cookie that’s gonna havelike salt oh yeahZachary very like salty cookies exactlythat was a carb so now we get this wehave all of our dry ingredients puttogether we put our bowl aside and nowwe get our mixer ready now what I dowith the dry ingredients what the heckhappened to my finger Giegerdad sucks my my recipe went goodbyethere we go okay so the wet ingredientsif you might want to call them that isone and a half cups of butter now I havein the past use margarine because itdidn’t have any butter I got to buy itand it works fine so you can substitutethat if if you feel like or you knowsomebody who if you’re somebody whodoesn’t like a butter or can’t usebutter for heart or whatever reason andwhat I do with the butter is I chop itup into just get a knife and a half I’llgo at it right at time i soften this bythe way yeah and even out for a coupleof hours let it soften up you know youdon’t want to melt it but you want asofter so that you can work with itright so there you go and I’m gonnaplunk that sucker in there don’t knowwhere my oh where did the thing go rightthat we use the spatula spatula thegreen one and the blue one the right onein the blue one all right we’re done thespatulas blue nah we don’t need that yetI do need a little spatula though pleaseso we get our little spatula we scoopall of our butter into our or KitchenAid you can do this by hand to losingthis one half of a cup and this is how Iactually do this if I have to do it byhand cuz I only got my KitchenAidrecently I just get like a potato masherthe old-style kind of one and I mashedup crap out of this man so you get yourwonderful how 2 cups of butter then youget your 15 ounce can of pumpkin pureeright not pumpkin pie filling pumpkinpuree which is just pure pumpkin it’s alot cheaper anyway so and you don’t usea knife because my son is silly heshould use a spatula which I was gonnado is we’re gonna be here forever if yousit there all right that is too funny alittle bit mm-hmm and pumpkin smellsgood anywayoh it smells delicious you are making aminute my little helper but I drop adime just beforenever actually he’s baked bread andstuff but he’s never made okay so I madecookies okay so with you today that’strue now yeah the next thing we do iswe’re going to add the sugars and thenwe’re going to mix that up a little bitbefore we add other ingredients you knowI guess you can cleaned our spatulasChanel wants up so we were not supposedto add the pumpkin dude you said it’sokay no it’s not gonna hurt anything itjust you know if you had to do it byhand don’t do that don’t add the pumpkinjust the butter and the sugars theyexpose all berries nuts or cream them ohyeah oh that’s okay so white sugar isone cup one cup of white sugar in awhite mug in a white mug because wedidn’t have another white ball in thebrown and brown sugar is packed two cupsof packed brown sugar I use light brownit doesn’t say darker light but light ispreferablethere we go you got it all in there eventhough we got a theory in there wheatsupposed to then we put our mixer downlock it lock that sucker then – what -what – now Leah cream and Miss suckertogether like nobody’s business with alot more liquid than the truth yeah it’sa little liquidy it sort of looks nastyyou know yeah this is a great cookiebecause the butters just stuck to thething we suck oh it’s fully stuck okayokay we suck don’t do that don’t add thepumpkin for your prostateyeah we know I didn’t read the bottominstructions I thought I was all smartand member how to do it cuz I mean he’severy year so throwwrong we’re just scraping down the sidesmake sure everything yeah so why don’twe mix this all up and moving right backokay now about it looks like a lookslike a grenade throw upmmm yummy tongue better with butter wayback with that actually looks likespaghetti pasta you us like some of youserve this is so much addition of apathless on cookies don’t be stupidwell we argue then yes because we’restupid like thatokay we going a be a 1-800 one large eggwhen large egg I let it to get to roomtemperature it’s always better to havehere you get room temperature he’s gonnaturn that down way down thank you Oh dosomething with itOh a teaspoon of vanilla extract whereis thatthere we go we’re thinking about havinghere you used it for the cinnamon whichwas wrong because I had a tablespoonsitting here for the cinnamon yeah we wethought we were organized so you getyour nail little measuring things outyou pour that out really fast imperfectbecause I’m going I cook food I cookfood get that all mixed together alittle bitat the end of the day when you get tothis stage it actually looks like thisanyway so we really didn’t do that muchmuch wrong it ended up working out thatyou really should cream together thebutter you know are we gonna sugar firstbefore you add any other liquidingredients now we get our little lidthing first of all we do anything or lidthat helps us add that helps us so thatwe don’t get covered in Dom and we didnot use this when I got covered yeah cuzwith kids because we’re not smart likethat so like I said in you just said itdude you’re goneit is yeah that’s good okay so you justsaid it so why don’t you get a spoon oruse a spatula right here that so theseare our dry ingredients that we mixedearlier remember that so we’re going toget our dry ingredients no that’s notgood no good into itwhite has some brains so what we’regonna do is you turn this on low and youslowly gradually add the dry ingredientsthe ones that we mixed earlier they allturn into more of a dough what are youdoing one yeahmommy knows that muttering mama does soas you can see we’re lazy because you’rethe KitchenAid I’m gonna tell you thehonest to goodness truthDiana cannot mix for crap my arms I’m soold and crusty and weak don’t you havethe like this pointless hair and a happyI have yeah yeah yeah yeah in myligaments and stuff it’s weird butthere’s nothing they can do because it’sall mixed in with your muscles ooh stufflike between your life and it calciumcalcium deposits best Queenie days somake sure there’s heard real world thatso I can to get it dry for longyeah I can’t but that’s okay just havethe kids take me now it’s getting alittle bogged down so then we turn it upto two if you don’t have this bill I’mtelling you the honest truth it’s notall that hard because the mixture itselfis actually quite wet it is and if youdo have a problems there are fewI noticed online there are a few recipesthat work you’re vegan there are peoplethat call for no eggs like there’s somethat you can make that don’t have eggsand we use margarine with the flaxseed abecause the pumpkin really isn’t an ISAlike it really will live together kindof like applesauce if you use out thesauce in replacement of a in one recipeit’ll work I try we’re still mixingwe’re putting all the dry ingredients inthere we’re good to gothis is us being mad all of the drunkamazing this is going to be done in asecond but we don’t have to do somemixing about am the little scrape we’regonna scrape it down because my line isactuallyotherwise you’re gonna end up withdifferent layers like maybe one willhave a lot of soul well no no we mix thesalt in already but it will the top parthere if you notice there’s like somepumpkin that’s not mixed in at all likestraight of your pumpkin don’t want justlike pure pumpkinnow there’s also recipes that don’t callfor the oatmeal either we just happen tolike the real open and these end upbeing really chewy really soft reallypuffy uh-huh you can freeze them andkeep them for months we’ve done that andthen just Mike I mean I’ve made likedouble or triple of this recipe and putit in the freezer until need a knife umEaster when Easter falls earlier in theyear oh just here all right I’m like Ican’t get the rest off but I don’t itdown Christmas we want to watch Dianaand quentin bake cookies all the timebecause they talk about really grossyeah okay you’re really nicebut what you do is you push up and thenyou turn to get those who I think that’sgood enough I my hands are going to getdirty no matter what so I’m just gonnagrab it here we go push up turn take itall off go put it in the sink nowQuentin is going to start mixing with aspoon because I’m gonna grab it up thedrawer with the spoons right beside meme suck I don’t know we’re gonna makesure no one is to two cops and it’s twocups of chocolate chip the recipe saysyou want to use the tiniest chocolatechips but dudes those cost a frickinfortune so I ain’t doing itI will distribute venator blah blah blahI’m poor ain’t doing it I’m like tryingto get what are you doing the rest ofthe pumpkin aw stop itready just like you did with the dryingredients you just put a little bit ata timeoh yeah this is like gonna break gonnaleave we broken multiple spoons doingthat wouldn’t really broken plasticspoon this one’s gonna break we’vebroken this is where my husband comes inbecause I can’t do it it’s difficult youneed to be strong yes I D and are thesesemi severe no other saying there’s semiI don’t use dark now here’s anotheralternative and I will put that downbelow you can put walnuts in it as welland actually a lot of people do we don’tonly because a few of our kids don’tlike them and I’m not feel like goinghalf here half there just yeah I make itso that everybody can eat it that’sactually what you’re doing is prettysmart I’m just trying to get them downto the floor huh don’t pick them upthere cats don’t down there no didn’t wewe did we’re having issues we’re havinglots of issues the spoon it’s gonnabreak that’s why I can kill me so it’sgonna stop right here and let it mix itbut I think it’s funny and I’m hoping hegets to just I think I got it okay so beright back in two seconds hi I’m backstop that was hard man so she eats likea spoon that’s gonna break okay so thevery last thing you’re gonna do we’vegot it mixed we’re good to goour muscles hurt we’ve our own isexercisedmmm-hmm that was exercise right thereand we can just do thissome people use put this off to the sidesome people use teaspoons I actuallyhappen to just I like the waytablespoons work go inside and you diginside and you get like a little doll[Music]like date like bit me and all you do isyou put it on the pan how hard was thathard at alland you do for that I mean whateverslice a pan you have you make them aboutan inch and a half circle you don’t patthem down you don’t push them down youleave them cuz they’re drop cookiesright so you just rub them down andyou’re good to goso what we’ll do is we’re gonna finishdropping our cookies so a lot of batterSusan we launched about well but they’renot gonna see that their own won’t seewon’t manage because we’re not gonnamake them wait all day so we’ll be rightback okay everyone we’re back we pumpedthem all down on our tray when you bakethem at 375 for 10 to 12 minutes sothey’re like slightly gonna slightlyBrownit might even look a little soft stilland that’s perfectly fine Harding cuzthey do as they did cool so we’ll beback to show you the finished productsee you soon okie dokie everyone ourfirst batches out of the oven what I dois on the pan I use them for a couple ofminutes to three minutes then theysolidify enough and you scoop them offyou put them on your air drying rack andwhat I normally do I don’t have it doneright now because I’m making a video foryou I all have like another tray wellthey one is cooking I have another onegetting ready so it just basicallyrotate quickly and yes I get exhaustedcuz I does a huge amount of cookie likeno time we barely scrape the surfacelike I think you could actually have itbut you know the recipe I gave you willbe this recipe and this is one that Ifound years and years ago and then Imodified the flour the sugar everythingI kind of experimented with the recipe Ifound years ago and I made it so thatthere’s a you know kind of a general onethat people will like and then like Isaid I add the pumpand pie spice and stuff for our ourliking our Nikki’s so here you go theseare what they look like nice and brownthey don’t spot a lot so you can put abunch on one pan yes you can they as youcan see and they taste have one tell mewhere fall they’re softcool they’re good and the best part isthere’s pumpkin in them so there’s youcan pretend they’re good for you do haha you can’t tell that they’re oh no youit does not taste like an oatmeal cookienot at all I just put the oh it looklike I’ve seen many many recipes thatdon’t have those but I think oats aregood for you so it’s something I add cuzit’s a healthy healthy thing to put inthere and I guess don’t mind it so thereyou go this is our are you ready this isus saying Merry Christmas hope youenjoyed our only ever
