Ingredients :
2 3/4 cups All Purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 tbsp ground ginger
1/2 tbsp ground cinnamon
3/4 tsp cloves
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 cup softened unsalted butter (room temperature)
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
3/4 cup molasses
Procedure:
Mix together flour,baking soda,and spices in a medium bowl and set aside. In the bowl of a stand mixer cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy it will takes 5 min. Add the egg and molasses and continue to mix until well combined . Gradually add the flour mixtures(flour, salt and baking soda) and mix on low speed until the dough is mixed together. Divide the dough into two and form a disk shape and wrap each in plastic wrap. Place in fridge for about one hour. Before you bring out the dough pre heat the oven at 350F, when the dough is ready to be used , roll it out about 1/4” thickness and cut as desired . Bake the cookies for about 14 minutes.
