Cookies have been favourites of all age groups. We have shown you the simplest way of making cookies which is a traditional Indian long lost recipe. Do try this and impress your near and dear ones!

Prep Time: 20 Mins
No. Of Servings- 2 persons
Wheat Flour – 100 gms
Gram Flour – 25 gms
Semolina – 2-3 tablespoons
Cardamom – 1-2 tablespoon
Ghee/Butter – 100-125 gms
Sugar – as required (I have used 100 gms)
Step 1: Mix Ghee and Sugar such that the sugar melts and blends perfectly. (you can use powder sugar)
Step 2: Now mix wheat flour, gram flour, semolina and cardamom powder together to make dough
Step 3: Add the ghee mix to this and knead well to make a dough
Step 4: Take equal round portions and press each ball flat.
Step 5: Place this one by one in your cookie try with a silver sheet
Step 6: Insert cashews or dry fruits of your choice into each cookie
Step 7: Pre-heat the oven for 5 mins in 180°C
Step 8: Place your Cookie tray in the oven for 10 mins in 180°C
Step 9: Remove from oven and let cool
Step 10 : Serve with hot tea and tickle your taste buds
Notes: Keep this for 10-20 days in an airtight container

Either salted butter or unsalted butter is fineMix sugar with butter first like I am showing you nowI have melted butter and i am adding sugar to thisUsing powdered sugar is the best choice, if not mix it while the butter is a little warmsee how the mixture looks. powdered sugar will give you better resultsYou get powdered sugar in the market itself, you may use thatNow lets see how to make cookie doughI have taken wheat flour in a mixing bowlThen I am adding gram flourNow I have added SemolinaNow Mix wellI have put required cardamom powderMix wellOnce we have mixed this wellNow lets pour the ghee+sugar syrup to make the doughNow are dough is ready and I am taking equal small portions for making cookiesGrease your palm with ghee and make equal round ballsOur equal round balls are readyGently press this between your palms and place it in a cookie tray one by oneLets insert cashews before we bake themThis is going to taste wonderful.
