These cookies were part of a set I made for a 60s themed awards banquet! I’ll have a video up this week with more detailed instructions on the tie dye design. 💜
The anti-cratering technique was created by https://www.instagram.com/coriannes_custom_cookies on Instagram – go follow her as she has AMAZING content! The idea is to use this technique in small spaces that have a tendency to crater, or sink in. Once the outline is dry, you pipe a small amount of icing in the middle of the space, which provides stability for the icing you’ll be flooding with. MAKE SURE this icing dries before you flood or it will just sink in to the flood icing and it won’t help at all. 🙂 If you have more questions on this, let me know in the comments section and I’ll be happy to help!
