this is Derrick LawrenceJaquan is my nine-year-old Caprice andDanai awesome alright this speech isgonna be on how to make homemade cookiesif you’re a person like me and you don’tlike to eat store-bought cookies thebest way to go so I’m gonna start off bydoing my wet ingredients first which istwo eggs and Crisco baking butter sneakone stick after that I’m going to add3/4 of brown sugarI’m also gonna add 3/4 of regular sugar1 tablespoon of pure vanilla extractone tablespoon of baking sodahalf a teaspoon of salt I’m going to usemy fork and I’m going to mash and mixall this togethernow I’m going to add one bag ofHershey’s semi-sweet chocolate chips andmix that in once that is mixed in he’sgonna want to get your flour this is 2and 1/4 of flour you’re gonna want toslowly add it to the batter because ifyou throw it all in it does get harderto mixand beforeadd more flour going to preheat the ovento 350 degreesat the restyou want to make sure you fix it all theflower but there’s no loose flowernow that all that is done I’m going tomy other glove on which has cookie doughon itmy finger just gonna grab some dough Iusually roll it in the ball but if youlike my grandma who’s old school shejust throws it on the pan there’s noneed to spray the pan with nonstickbuttermake sure that they are spaced out theywill spreadyou will need wax paper so when you takethem off to have them cool off on asurface so that they don’t stick andlike them bake for about 10 minutes allright we’re back with the end result myaudience once again with an extra greatso now I’m going to take the cookies outof the oven and we’re going to place iton this wax paperso your cookie should look light brownnot too darkyou won’t let them sit there in coolsince I don’t have time to let them coolI’m going to demonstrate how soft theyare once they come out the cookie shouldexactly like this alright everybody thatis how you make homemade cookieshopefully you’ll try it yourself at homeand you’ll never go back to store buystore-bought cookies again thank you
