hi everybody this is Jen from cookiescupcakes and cardio comm today I’m goingto show you how to make heart shapedcupcakes so come along with me and herewe go so for our heart shaped cupcakesyou’re going to need a cupcake tinmuffin tin they’re also known as cupcakeliners these are just standard paperones cookie scoop muffin scoop this isthe large size if you don’t have one ofthese scoops just you can use spoonsyou’re also going to need our specialingredient today which are glass marblesand you’re going to need cake mix nowyou can either use the standard box mixthat you get at the grocery store or youcan check out a couple of our cakerecipes that you make homemade fromscratch they’ll be in the descriptionarea in the bottom so the first thingthat you need to do is line your tins[Applause]now with your cake mix you’re only goingto put about half of the liner full sothat’s plenty of room there so justprobably if you’re using a spoon about atablespoon worth of batter it’s gonnafill all these tablespoons in here youdon’t want to put too much batter forthis project because if you overflowthen the cupcake is going to not looklike a heart at all it will look like aregular cupcake so like I said it’simportant not to overflow on this oneand if you’ve ever overfilled cupcakesonto a muffin pan you know that it canbe an absolute pain to get them scrubbedoff the top here so with these marblesand your cupcake tins half-full you’rejust going to push this little one awayto the side and drop the marble in youwant to push it near to the bottom asbest as you canand drop them all the way in and as theybake they will bake around the marbleso I’m gonna put these all in here andmake sure you wash your marbles ofcourse because you’re using a foodproduct here so I just use standardwater and some soap and you’re going tobake these cupcakes according to yourpackage directions or the directionsthat you’ve used from your recipe fromscratch this one is going to go in for18 minutes and when they come out theywill hopefully look like little heartsnow people this isn’t an exact heartobviously but it will be pretty closeand with decorating it will turn outvery cute so in about 18 minutes we’llbe back when they’re out of the oven sojust out of the oven are the cupcakesand you can see they formed around themarbles and they have made little heartshapes so I’m just gonna let them coolhere for a couple minutes then I’m gonnapull them out and let them coolcompletely and when they’re coolcompletely I will be back to show youjust some simple heart decoratingtechniques that we can use right afterthis so to decorate the tops of theheart cupcakes I’m just going to use asimple decorating bag filled with pinkbuttercream you can find all of theinformation on how to make the pinkbuttercream how to fill piping bags onour Channel and we’ll attach some moredetails to the bottom in the descriptionarea for you and what I’m using rightnow is a Wilton tip number 21 and it’s astar tip that’s quite a small one andI’m going to do is just start at the topof the heart press down pull up and I’mjust going to go down in a heart shapedown to the point and then back upfollowing the shape that the marblesended up making then down into themiddle and back up I’m gonna fill in anyholes here so that’s a simple way todecorate the cupcake using the star tipone more time for you starting at thetop so basically following the shape butjust giving it a little bit more mm soit looks a little bit more like a heartfilling it in here so the next techniquethat I’m going to use which is the onethat I used here is just with the Wiltontip number 12 and it’s an open round tipit’s quite small so to change your tipsyou just open up your coupler switchthem out and the same idea I’m going tostart at the top then I’m just going toslowly fill the cupcake in in the shapeof the heart letting it build so it’sgot a nice soft pillowy look to it I’mfilling in any gaps that I need to andthen as a final touch on these ones withthe round tip just thought the look ofthe little white dredges was quitepretty any colors that you have it looknice so again filling with the number 12round tip starting at the top just gonnalet it build and build and build comingdown up and around and then coming inand filling in what I might have missedso you could use any of your tips thatyou have for decorating and on thesecupcakesthese are just a couple of ideas for youso hopefully this was helpful if youhave any comments please leave thembelow we read all of them and we’d loveto hear from you so hopefully hopefullyyou enjoyed how to make a heart-shapedcupcake thanks for watching and rememberto subscribe to the channel and we’llseenext timehow to make cupcakes into hearts what
