How to make Halloween Spider Cookies…DIY.

How to make Halloween Spider Cookies…DIY.

These spider cookies are so super cute and don’t take long at all to make.

The recipe I’m giving you for the cookies is from Jamie Oliver and then the rest it trial and error from lots of different styles I’ve seen. This is my favourite cute finish.

This recipe is for 20 people and with resting fridge time it should take around 35 minutes to make.

You will need…

Maltesers big bag.
Googly eyes, from baking aisle.
125 grams of Golden Caster Sugar.
Teaspoon of vanilla extract.
Medium egg
100grams softened butter
200 grams of Self raising flour.
Piping bag
2 blocks of milk chocolate of which…
100 grams you will chop up to put in the mixture.
The rest you will use to melt and decorate.
Backing sheets and trays.
Oven at 170

The rest of what to is in the video above…

Spanish cookies so and so pleased that
you stopped by to our channel please
subscribe
it’s very easy just click the notable
hit this subscribe button at the bottom
and also with there’s a bail
notification that lets you know when
we’ve uploaded new videos on my channel
is all about mix you may be here we’re
gonna show you in a minute so I’m a mum
and working mum busy working mum so I
work in television and I’m a TV
presenter but I also like to craft but
I’ll show you my everyday I show you my
traveling I’ll show you what I’m
crafting I show you health-wise as well
but up in health right no no we don’t
need to no no we don’t need to record we
don’t need to know what’s in our code
and also just lots of different things
that’s our channel but we’d love you to
have it have you with now if that was
all that your hand what’s a madman yeah
where and who’s enough to clean it up
yes so I don’t want to have to do it so
show them the first thing what we use it
you can’t hear who sits feet sitting no
that’s too loud googly-eye googly eyes
Multi multi xizt chocolate now there’s a
hundred grams of chakra just in a little
bit more but how did we get it like that
because that’s chocolate bars we stamped
it and we cut it off with a knife we cut
it off with scissors we also we’ve got
150 grams of show bones and caster sugar
we’ve got 200 grams of self-raising for
our we also have a hundred grams of
softened butter half a teaspoon full of
vanilla extract save that when you go
around inna lat also we’ve had we’ve got
a pinch full of salt and the egg that
Frankie Jack’s showing you so we’ve just
heat is our oven up 170 and we’ve also
put three sort of papers on to our trays
ready to go and this ferret 20 people
and it also said my they also change
monthly or twenty million no don’t do
that don’t do that and so we are now
going to make so we’re just gonna pull
you in a little bit closer so you might
not be able to see these absolutely
feels like you’re in a soft place so I
didn’t get in chain you’ve got chocolate
all over these trousers so we’re just
bring you a bit closer in and then you
can see is putting it all together you
need to move it
right so we’ve got the chemical up
mixing bowl you’re not going to see you
know that’s gonna do a little so they
were going to put them off now that
sugar no not that little right I need
you to sit up on that and I need you to
put this butter into there you put the
boxer into there please
she’ll finally in well you need to get
it all the way no no no you don’t need
to do that you’ve got you back to the
camera we can’t see you we’ve got you
have to do it slightly on the angle
let’s get it out in yeah throw out all
of it in Oh make sure you don’t get it
on the side oh you got it all in right
now close the lid press the knob down at
the back close that in and then you’re
going to slightly turn that to that side
looking like that
so we’ve now got it pale and creamy you
don’t need you can do it you don’t have
to have a kin which is right leave it
there how long see you cracking the egg
add the vanilla extract and mix well so
we’re going to crack in the egg now can
you crack an egg
hang on be careful gone dog get anything
go get anything in right let me that put
that in the bin into the vanilla extract
is now we’re gonna go in right or knew
of that and I’ll get a little teaspoon
you to be able to scrape everything out
and and that’s it
[Music]
[Music]
and then you’re going to take your
favorite rabbit this wooden spoon you’re
gonna fold it fold it to fold it nicely
fold it nicely now we’re going to put in
the chocolate
[Music]
[Music]
so now what we’re gonna do with these is
we’re actually now gonna put these in
the fridge and they want to settle for
or cool off for about 15 minutes
okay so just come out of the fridge so
we’ve done which part of it so we’re now
just gonna show you how we are going to
put them on the greaseproof paper now
flatten it with our fingers a little bit
and that’s it don’t hear the dough balls
and I’m gonna have to put some one here
cuz obviously you need to space them out
and then you just slightly flatten them
with your fingers like so and that’s how
you get the cookie shape and that’s how
you slightly do it a packing bag and I
take some very cheap chocolate 30 pence
chocolate from Tesco’s Morrison’s or
Asda and melt it in the microwave or
pour into a piping bag and then what
I’ve done is if I just threw this front
cookie here just to show you I put on
the four legs first of all so one leg so
four legs I did a strap across that’s
the way I should have gone actually
strap across again
strap across again for the eight legs
press across again and then of course
you’ve got quite a lot of chocolate in
the middle so then I put two malteaser
balls on there and then I put a little
dollop there and a little dollop there
and that gives you you’ve just got to
let that dry because if you try and put
the googly eyes on it ends up like that
so you’ve got to let this fly so I’ll
just do another one for you and then
frankly Jack’s gonna have a go so you’re
gonna go strike going across and you’re
going to meet this strike the sort of
thing in the middle for the legs if that
makes sense because the middle bit is
going to hold your malteaser so of
course the spider has eight legs so
that’s its eight legs and then you take
the couple of Maltesers and you place
them in the middle like so
and then you put dollop doll look for
the eyes and that’s where you’re going
to stick the eyes on when
got a little bit term when it’s dried a
little bit more right Frankie jack is
going to have hey yo I sure saw Mommy
did it that’s the one life you know you
need a second leg now second leg that’s
it
second leg and then excellent
okay please pulling everywhere right is
that I get really cheap chocolate like
this I think this one’s from Morrison’s
but you can also get one from Asda and
you can also go to protest goes I’m not
checked same as me but I’m pretty sure
you’ve probably got to get it from there
and they’re about 30 PA bar and that’s
the chopper that I use so I’m going to
use the rest of the stock but now that’s
in here I’m gonna break that up put it
in the microwave and that’s what I’ll
use what it’s melted there’s a lot more
than these obviously but here they are
those are our spider cookies Frankie
Jack’s too tired now and it’s ready for
bed excited to start this rather late so
those are our spider cookies if you want
to know the ingredients it’s all in the
description below please don’t forget to

of our family and thank you so much for
