hi I’m William Hanson for howdini calmand Betty Crocker kitchens and I’m gonnashow you how to turn a rainy day into afun-filled day by baking with your kidswe’re gonna make these adorable bearcookie pops and here to assist me isbladehi you ready to get started sure okay tostart pre-heat your oven to 375 degreesso the first thing we’re gonna do ispour our cookie mix into the bowl okayand addition to the mix you’re alsogonna need an egg some water and someoil so do you want to help me by pouringthe oil in the water in sure okay I’mgonna start stirring and you can pourthose right in great now we also need anegg so do you want to try stirring alittle bit sure okay I’m gonna crackthat egg in while you stir move around abit there we gogood job yeah when I finish that off foryou and the next thing we’re gonna do iswe’re gonna actually shape them intolittle balls you have a big spoon hereyou want to grab that and just take anice big spoonful about that size andthen you’re gonna take it off and you’regonna roll it in your hand to make itinto a nice little ball and once youhave it into a ball just gonna put itdown on the tray and we’re gonna movethem about four inches apart like thatokay now you have a little spoon andgrab just a little bit about that muchand then you’re gonna form that into aball and we’re gonna need two of themabout the same size one tip for you isif you’re at home and the dough is kindof sticky you can wet your palm withsome cold water and that’ll prevent thedough from sticking so you know I’mgonna show you how to do it now you’regonna you can do what I do you’re gonnaput the little ears right next to thebig one so already it’s starting to looka little bit like a teddy bear they caneven touch when I roll them in just alittle bit want to roll that one goodnow we can keep doing this until we haveour pan full usually you can fit aboutsix of these on a pinch and what we’regonna do is we’re gonna place the headhere but we’re gonna put the ears onthat side good so now we can put thepopsicle sticks in okay you get apopsicle stick to you and I’ll show youwhat I’m gonna do I’m gonna stick thepopsicle stick inlike that okay and then just kind ofpush the cookie down to make it into thebear shape great very niceso our cookies are done the next step isto bake your cookies for 11 to 13minutes let them cool on their pans forabout 2 minutes then you can transferthem to a cooling rack for best resultsuse a spatula that’s at least the sizeof the cookie so the cookie doesn’t loseits shape when you’re moving it we havesome already cooled on a cooling rackready to decorate so you wanna help medecorate now we have lots of candies tochoose from and to stick them on we havesome icing some cookie icing okay so wehave white and red which color would youlike to use okay so let me take the topoff the value of the white okay and I’llshow you what to do I’m gonna give you acookie now you’re gonna take your bagand if you squeeze it at the top theicing is going to start to come out okayand you can use this as glue so I’mgonna put a little in the middle and I’mgonna glue a little nose down okaythen you can also use it as glue foreyes maybe I’ll what color eyes should Imake oh you or white or green blue okayso little blue eyes and then you caneven pipe a little mouth on if you wantyou want to try one sure okay so there’syour baggreat so which one do you want for thenose okay now some eyes great jobcolor eyes are you gonna choose blue youlike blue eyes do you want a mouth onthat one too okayWow these look great those look so goodyou know what they make great partyfavors and they taste as good as theylookmmm thanks for helping Blythe you’rewelcomeI’m Lea Hansen for howdini calm andBetty Crocker kitchens hi I’m Lea Hansenfor howdini calm and Betty Crockerkitchens and I’m going to show you howto turn a rainy day into a fun-filledday by baking with your kids we’re gonnamake these adorable bear cookie pops andhere to assist me is Blythe hi you readyto get started sure okay to startpre-heat your oven to 375 degrees so thefirst thing we’re going to do is pourour cookie mix into the bowl
