– Baking cookies in the air
fryer is the next big thing. That’s right, you heard it here first. If you’re gonna let
this big, old appliancetake up all your counter space, you might as well find
some good uses for it.And this happens to be
a pretty great idea.Let’s give it a try, shall we?Just get the pre-packaged,
pre-portioned cookie dough.I don’t know if you
really have to preheat it.I’m gonna do 350 because that’s what theywould back at in the oven. Then, I’m gonna set it for eight minutesand let myself have a minute to preheat.I’m gonna do these for
about seven minutes. You can check them midway through.Key tip, you need to
lay down a little pieceof parchment into your air fryer basket. If you don’t put that there, the cookie dough just drips to the bottom.I’m gonna set the cookies in.We’re gonna have cookies soon.Go grab your milk.(beeping)It’s been almost five minutes. So we gotta give it a check. The good thing is you can peak.Looking good, but you can
tell they’re not quite done.Patience. (beeping)I’m gonna go get some milk.♪ Cookie time ♪♪ It’s cookie time ♪♪ It’s cookie time ♪(beeping)Actually, I don’t know if they’re done.Going back one more minute.(beeping) I think it if wouldn’thave opened them so many times.(beeping)So really, it’s about the same
time it takes in the oven.Baking directions are 10 to 14 minutes. You know, you might save
two minutes, three minutes. But you do have to take
into effect that youdon’t have to wait on
your oven to preheat.I like my cookies kind
of crispy on the outside, chewy and a little bit like
under done on the inside. Some people like ’em all the way crispy.Okay, I feel like I should stop. It’s been eight and 1/2 minutes.(beeping) Now those look perfect.Look at those. They’re a little soft now,’cause they have to sit for just a second. But these are gonna be perfect, trust me.I’ve been very patient. They’ve cooled for a couple minutesand I think they’re perfect.Let’s prove it.Look at that.Perfect on the outside,
perfect on the inside. That’s what I’m talking about.Number one, you can make
smaller batches of cookies. If you just want two or
three to bake late at nightwhile you’re watching “This Is Us”with a glass of wine, perfect.Number two, clean up is a breeze.Actually, there will be no clean up.Number three, these
take less time to cook.I mean, 11 minutes, start to finish, you’ve got perfectly baked
cookies, including cooling time.Close your oven and head to the sofa.Hmm, that’s good.
