hello pie lovers cookie lovers I’ve got
feel with me he really wanted to make
some cookies with me and I am just
craving some chocolate right now I need
a little afternoon yes so yeah
so what are we making Theo and cookies
we’re making a bunch of my favorite
cookies it’s really easy and I guess I
don’t have to turn my oven on for it it
is waffle chocolate waffle cookies so
we’re gonna be making it in my waffle
iron
so beer yep there’s our oven but we’re
using the waffle maker let’s see we
can’t rant Oh camera got our waffle iron
right there
right okay so we’re gonna start with our
butter I gotta melt it first and this is
the one frustrating thing about this
recipe is super easy but it costs for 15
15 tablespoons of butter which is
Tuesday’s college hoops it’s two sticks

like these cookies yeah I think you
would okay
so just cut off one tablespoon from your
butter and save that and then you gotta
melt how are you are you going to
preschool this year okay so I thought my
better I’m gonna just melt it really
quick you are four that’s right okay
okay so for this recipe I’m gonna just
be mixing it up in a bowl you don’t need
a mixer like a KitchenAid or anything it
mixes up really quickly and easy just in
a bowl so okay so you got our butter
melting now we need to I’m got my recipe
right here the next thing we need is our
cocoa and our eggs so Theo can you sit
back real quick so in the meantime I’ve
got my waffle iron preheating to a
medium so on my waffle iron that’s
number two I’ll show that to you in just
a second
not make a mess well I’ll show you we’ll
do it real careful okay all right so
let’s see if our butters ready to go do
like this drop in stay back
yeah okay let’s get our cocoa so this is
cocoa powder doesn’t that look yummy
okay so this is 2/3 cup of cocoa powder
and I’ll put this recipe up on the blog
okay all and you pour it careful we
gotta get it okay looking with kids
my favorite um I used to have a recipe
blog with my good friend Brittany it’s a
little sous chef and look wait a bit was
to come with your kids and after a while
realized sometimes not all the times so
so I’ve got the 15 tablespoons of butter
melting in the up in the microwave and
then we ran out of cocoa and whisk it
together hey let me put the butter in
and then do you want to pour the cocoa
in doing whisk it up okay it’s almost
ready okay
Hut okay hold on wait wait not in here
it’s gonna go in the big hole wait one
second let me put this in the garbage
and close this okay look I’m gonna pour
in the butter let’s see if we can get a
better angle should pull it back there
we go that looks better
okay let’s pour in butter
okay can you pour that in you know good
job okay now do you want to mix it up
yeah okay you can mix it up I’m gonna go
grab my clear cookie you so excited I
almost make miss you’re okay here can I
eat let me scrape let’s scrape the sides
a little real quick okay yeah hey Theo
do you know what’s next after we do this
yes what okay we’re gonna two teaspoons
of vanilla okay wait we don’t need that
yet we’re gonna do have an ALICE let me
pour this real quick my mom do this part
okay so got our two teaspoons of vanilla
okay one second
okay do you want to mix in the vanilla
yeah okay can you stir that I see that
in there yeah I mix that real good I
know what makes it taste super yummy
okay now we have four eggs let me just
look at my recipe I never had things
memorized even if I do have them
memorized I swear I remember as it’s
like a day and then I forget out all
right be careful okay how many eggs are
we doing Theo look can you count them
one your mom did a part to thank you you
get to stir it you get to mash up the
eggs
for looks just like you taking you stir
that I’m gonna go wash my hands why do
you mix that up what
eggs are make don’t touch it oh don’t
touch him yep okay let’s make some real
good we gotta make sure they’re all
mixed in that’s with it really fast
we mix them in smash them okay so we’ve
got our butter our cocoa our eggs our
vanilla
next comes a sugar you want to pour the
sugar okay wait let’s see is that the
right cup okay so it’s one and a half
cups of sugar this is my favorite
measuring cup cause it’s like oh I’ll
skip it and you can pour it okay does
that work I love these measuring cups
because they’re the big sizes they’re
off sizes this is a one and a half cup
of drink up
good job okay now mix it all together
with this meat makes the cookies okay
and then last but not least we have two
cups of flour same thing I’ve got this
measuring cup it’s a two cupcake you
keep mixing this and I’ll eat or it NK
then whenever I do my flour you can see
sorry Theo I always like to scoop it and
then I just use it again and I scrape
the top off any1 pour it in don’t drop
the drink mom okay
nuts it’s that’s everything that goes
inside dang done okay I’m up I’m gonna
help you finish it
Keith you are you ready to put these
into the waffle iron and make our
cookies
okay so we’re gonna make four cookies at
a time
I thought remaking the tent change no no
chocolate chips in this one case so what
we’re gonna do is I’m gonna scoop it
into my waffle iron and then you bake it
in the waffle iron for two to four
minutes I
my timer and I do it for three minutes
even and it works out perfect so let me
grab my waffle iron and see if I can set
it up so you guys can see it really good
iron waffle iron okay kinda hot so I
don’t want you to touch it because I
don’t want you to get burned kay here
let me turn around you hold this scoop
here we go okay this is hot you cannot
touch it see this keep your hands off
but Kay alright so now I got my scoop my
cookie scoop got my waffle iron stay
back now this I did not spray the non
with non cooking spray it’s just as is
I’m just gonna take one scoop of my
chocolate batter at the scene I should
show to you there’s a chocolate batter
all done I’m just gonna put it on each
square of the waffle maker alright thank
you it’s 2 5 you got burned it would be
really bad kay let mom do this you get
to eat the yummy cookies that’s the best
part
okay goes in and I’ll close it don’t
touch anything and I’m gonna set my
timer for three minutes okay so got
three minutes going on the timer look
yeah okay so the thing with these
cookies is when you open up your waffle
iron they’re gonna be really soft so I
use a fork to lightly take them off I’ll
show you and then I immediately put them
in an airtight container because I don’t
like crunchy cookies I like really soft
cookies and so this one you’ll be
tempted to probably cook it longer
because you’ll think it’s too soft but
pull it out before it gets crunchy or
else it’s just I don’t know unless if
you like crunchy cookies then you can
have a crunchy cookie but I’m gonna grab
some forks real quick hey you want to
lick that here let me get some of it off
and you can look good that’s the best
part the cookie dough get some
so doesn’t make a huge mess what do you
think okay let me grab some for you want
to diet you can assign it through the
phone I wish we could huh okay you eat
it and I’m gonna like it you like it
okay I got my little container this is
the first time we’re gonna be video so
we’re kind of all over the place but
we’ll figure it out right oh there we go
gonna eat it oh good
Theo is my favorite destructive child my
message is good oh we got more over here
okay how does that taste
you want more oh yeah yes they said yes
oh they’re gonna go oh you’re so nice
thank you okay I think our cookies it on
the Sun you’ve got one more minute feed
this up so you guys Oh
so I’m gonna tell you about these scoops
so I’ve always thought cookie scoops
just at the store or wherever but now
that I’m in the food industry we buy it
from like a restaurant supply and then
ice thing about the restaurant supply
stores is that all of their cookie soups
scoops yeah a lot more again okay wait
let me tell them about the cookie scoops
all of their cookie scoops um depending
on size are have Universal colors so you
can go to like any restaurant supply
store and if you buy a yellow handled
scoop it’s always gonna be this size
they have different colors we use purple
for different things we’ve got tan for
different things so I’ll look up the
size of this one this is the one I like
to use the one I you would normally use
before I started kress Club was just one
from the regular store Bed Bath & Beyond
williams-sonoma or whatever and those
work great too this one is a little bit
bigger
oh is that oh wait I’m gonna use that to
get the cookies up okay I think they’re
almost ready
we’ve got 15 more seconds and then we
get to take the cookies out look I know
you see it counting so anyway and then
this wall firing favorite okay
let’s take it out okay stand back I
don’t want you to get burned we got to
be really really careful oh they look so
good one of them already came out what
come out look it already kind of fell
out like I said they’re really soft so
just be really careful so they don’t
break all over me kind of a mess over
here okay oh that one we gotta let it
cool a burn your mouth right now
you’re okay okay oh you got it on me
that’s art oh you betting it on me fund
me honey it’s okay oh there you go here
let’s put it down while I get these off
does that work
thanks bud yeah this kid oh if I
survived this kid what I’ll be doing
good he’s so cute though let’s happen
take daddy okay those ones are oh man
our first floor cookies are made base we
put more cookies in no why not guys

okay let’s put these in these cookies
looks so yummy
okay what God do four at a time okay
okay we’re gonna close it carefully oh
thank you okay now let me set the timer
all right okay let me show you these
cookies real quick let’s see if it’s too
hot no it’s alright okay here’s our
final product it is just a yummy little
treat and it’s so easy and fast to whip
up oh come over here so they can see you
eat one hmm
trying to do it’s like a brownie on a
cookie hey let’s put it back and let it
cool off okay Kathy OH
