How To Make Chocolate Chip Cookies | Homemade Chocolate Chip Cookies

Today’s recipe is how to make Chocolate Chip Cookies at home. Step by step guidelines with easy baking tips.

Ingredients

1 cup bread flour
¾ cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup (2 sticks) butter
1 cup dark brown sugar
½ cup white sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon instant coffee powder
1 large egg
1 large egg yolk
½ cup semisweet or dark chocolate chips
5 ounces dark chocolate, chopped

Preparation

1. Firstly, add butter to a saucepan and bring into boil. Boil it until the butter becomes golden. This is a tip to get the cookies a nutty color. when the butter is golden color immediately transfer it for another bowl or jar to stop boiling. Let it cool for a while.
2. Add white and brown sugar, Vanilla essence, instant coffee powder (ideally Nescafé or espresso powder) and gradually add the melted butter. Beat it until it until the batter becomes thick
3. When the batter is thick add the egg and the egg York beat it until it becomes creamy.
4. Add flour and baking powder and swift it to the cookie batter and beat it until the all the ingredients are well combined.
5. Now add the chocolate chips and mix it from a spatula
6. Cover it with a glad wrap or with a lunch sheet and keep it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. When dough is cooled it’s easy to make the cookies
7. Preheat the oven for 150’C for 15 minutes
8. Take a baking tray and line a parchment paper. Give a slight oil or butter brush
9. Take the cookie dough from the fridge. With a use of an ice cream scoop or with a ball shape spoon take small amount of cookie dough and make it like ball shape with the use of the palms. Line it on the parchment sheet with a 3-inch gap. This gap is essential as the cookies will expand when its bake.
10. Bake for about 20 to 25 minutes. Until the Chocolate chip cookies are light brown don’t bake until its golden brown
11. Take off from the oven and immediately place the cookies on a wire rack to cool down
12. Let it settle down for a while before serving.
