How to Bake the Perfect Cookie

Ever gotten that cookie from a relative that they thought was good, but one bite in you felt like you were gonna break a tooth. Here is my journey in how to avoid that. After long hours of research I came up with this video. Enjoy!

Chocolate Chip Cookie Ingredients:
1 cup softened unsalted butter
1 cup white sugar
1 cup dark brown sugar
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 large eggs
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp baking powder
1 tsp sea salt
2 cups chocolate chips

Mix sugars and melted butter using a mixer, after thoroughly mixed add vanilla. In a separate bowl mix all your dry ingredient together (flour, baking soda, baking powder, and sea salt). Then mix dry ingredient in with the rest. After they is combined mix in the eggs, then add chocolate chips. Refrigerate dough for 30 min.

Preheat oven to 350 degree Fahrenheit
Using a 3 ounce scoop scoop dough onto baking sheet, then using the backside of the scoop make a divot in the center of the doughball. Bake for 14 min.

Peanut Butter Cookie Ingredients:
1 cup unsalted butter
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup white sugar
1 cup dark brown sugar
2 eggs
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
1 ½ teaspoons baking soda

Mix peanut butter, sugars and melted butter using a mixer. In a separate bowl mix all your dry ingredient together (flour, baking soda, baking powder, and sea salt). Then mix dry ingredient in with the rest. After they is combined mix in the eggs. Refrigerate dough for 30 min.

Preheat oven to 350 degree Fahrenheit
Using a 3 ounce scoop scoop dough onto baking sheet, then using a fork create a crosshatch pressing the dough ball down, making sure the dough is pressed evenly. Bake for 14 min.
