How NOT to Make Football Sugar Cookies (Stream Highlights)

today we’re making cookies for the Super
Bowl tomorrow football-shaped sugarcookies I can’t believe I did that
oh well so right now I’m just kneadingthe flour into the dough
I made this bougie little cookie cutterit was like a leaf
shaped like a riveted leaf shape from aChristmas cookie cutter set I got so I
just hammered it to look like a footballand it cuts thirst you can still see
kind of like the ridges and stuff butit’s okay I don’t know how many cookies
I’m gonna be making the first one itlooks like a lemon right now with my
luck somebody also hammered out aChristmas cookie cutter into a football
shape and it’s gonna make footballshaped cookies that’s just how my life
goes and with my luck they’ll be betterthan mine but it’s okay because I’m
enjoying my process a true Baker makes amess and obviously me with my Walmart
brand what royal icing and Pillsburysugar cookie dough am a true Bakerhonestly I don’t think I should be too
worried about the actual shapejust more about the icing, which is scarycause I’ve never worked with royal icing beforethese actually don’t look
too badI’ll be honest I’m actually kind of
proud of myself we want not accuracy wewant resemblance that’s what we’re eight
so I got two tubs of this royal icingfootballs are brown so I got some brown
food coloring and they also have likewhite little details like the little
lines on them in the middle of thestitch line or whatever it isokay I’m so nervous
so I got heavy bags and some tips thesedon’t look too bad yeah they don’t look
too bad that’s hurting me it’s reallyorange I mean like it’s brown I only
bought one thing of it and it’s a it’s abig little thing let me add a bit more
this is literally all of itthey’re touching each other and we don’t
want that if they’re too warmthey’ll milk the icing even further I
think I had too much water I don’t haveanymore I don’t have any more food
coloring to make another one okay I’mjust gonna put a little bit trial and
errorI’m gonna take my butter knife and use
this if I spread it thin enough it won’tspread out more if I spread it if I
spread it for itself I’m so nervousbut as I’m doing this it’s actually not
too bad I think I might have done it butI have no more brown there is none so if
I mess this up I’m done for but I thinkif I do it this way it won’t be too bad
this looks so bad look at that but Ineed it
it’s gonna be so tediousa leak on my foot is to be stuck see yes
doing every single one of these cookieslike that it’s not how I was expecting
for us to go but it’s working okay let’sdo another one you were expecting a lot
worsehonestly me too
these aren’t looking too badlook guys I’m a crow Baker okay let me
do one more it doesn’t look as goodoh my god why did I make so many cookies
I have to decorate all of them like thisI’m terrible I can go to this party and
I can explain it to them all night andthey’ll never understand but it’s okay
because we knowwe know the hard work and the trials and
tribulations we had take it to thispoint that makes me feel a bit better
about my cooking because and my dogwants it then I mean it can’t be that
bad I think the only thing he doesn’teat is strawberries I’m just trying to
make myself feel better I’m terrible I’mso terrible this is a mess I’m gonna run
out of hi-c believe this I’m ridiculousI guess if I told somebody that they
were footballs they’d be like oh yeahokay but if they looked at it without
knowing that I told them right now thatthey were at footballs they’d be likeI’m getting icing all over me I think I
can set it right now I can decorate withboth hands
my cat Marlo this looks greatI need good job on this one I’ve shown
even bought piping bags I fitted ashootable but I would have to seem like
I was fancy and then I knew what I wasdoing which obviously I don’t I only got
one more on this pan the frost and thenlike however many I can scavenge from
the second pan now this one I don’t haveto worry about wasting because I have a
hole right here in the front they’ve alllike hardened or not shiny anymore so a
football has the two white lines on theends and then a little like so line in
the middle rightI messed it up Oh No
I think what I should do for the middleline cuz it’s like dinner is put some on
a plate and use like a butter knife orsomething not these look terrible I’m
the worst I might just have to do alittle wine we finish the cookies Hey
look they look pretty good on camera butwe do I think I did a pretty good job
you guysI don’t think I did I did pretty goodtoday we celebrate because they resemble
