Fastest, Easiest ANY Flavor Cookie Recipe

One recipe, endless flavor choices!

PUDDING COOKIES
2 Cups all purpose flour
( Hudson Cream is my favorite)
3/4 teaspoon of baking soda
Dash of salt
3/4 Cup of shortening
1 Cup of sugar
1 small package of any flavor instant pudding
3 eggs

Cream shortening, sugar, and eggs. In a medium size bowl combine flour, salt, baking soda,& dry pudding. ( you can use 2 packages of pudding mix, my mom’s recipe actually did) combine dry ingredients with shortening, sugar, egg mixture. Scoop into balls and roll in powdered sugar. If you are making snickerdoodles with vanilla pudding you will roll this cookie in granulated sugar and cinnamon. Bake 350 for 8-10 minutes. The cookies that I rolled in powdered sugar actually took me 14 minutes to cook in my oven. All ovens vary. If you make the Junior Chocolate Mint cookies I would recommend using 2 packages of pudding. How much pudding 1-2 packages depends on how strong of a flavor you want the cookie to have. ENJOY!

hey guys Peggy here I got a really goodcookie recipe for ya it was one that mymom used to use and she was referred toas the cookie lady because she’s socookie trace and this is like this is ago-to for the holidaysif your children come home at lastminute and they have a Christmas programand they need cookies it’s quick it’stypically stuff you have on hand if youdon’t have it it’s stuff that you canpick up at just a local store or yournearest Dollar General near you so letme tell you how how I do it well firstI’m going to tell you a little bit aboutthese cookies you can make all kinds ofdifferent ones these cookies right hereare pistachio these are chocolatecrinkles and I put a caramel kiss insidein the middle you have to do that rightwhen you pull them out of the oven thisis a snickerdoodle and this is a lemoncrisp now what’s unique about thisrecipe is that all of these cookies arethe same same recipe the only thing Ichange out is the pudding animal sothey’re basically they’re puttingcookies and you can change the flavor soit’s kind of endless at what you canmake with this you can make banana creamcookies you can make strawberry cookiesbutterscotch cookies the vanilla onesright here this is vanilla pudding buton these you’re gonna mix up granulatedsugar and cinnamon and then you roll itin it before you bake it so then youhave a snickerdoodle if you want youcould leave that off and just drizzle alittle icing over it and it would be avanilla cookie which you can also usewith some other recipes so that’s it andthey’re really good so I’m just going toshow you how how you do it so first offyou’re going to need pudding now Inoticed when I was looking at these thisone says great value says it’s 3.4 ounceand this one says a 3.9 they’re bothgreat value but so as long as it’s inputting and it’s the small packageyou’re fine it just has to be instant ithas to be the small package so what youdo is you’re going to take two cups offlour and you’re going to use one oneand a half teaspoon or 3/4 of teaspoonof your baking soda and just a dash ofsalt now when I say a dash of salt likeI literally just do a – I’m not going toput it in it because I already have itin there I’m gonna throw that in therethen they’re going to take your puddingand you are just going to mix it in withall your other dry ingredients now forthis I just take a whisk and I just workit around so that you’re mixed it in inwith your flour and your salt and yourbaking soda by the way here’s a quicktip for you I think I’ve shared itbefore but this is just a ball canningjar and this lid was from Parmesancheese and it works fabulous because youcan open it up scoop it out what youwant and then clean your spoon off onthe edge and it stays fresh so now I’vegot this worked in and I’m just going toset this to the side now and also inanother Bowl I have powdered sugarbecause when I get done making them I’mgonna roll it in it I roll every kind ofmaking it except for snickerdoodles Irolled them in the cinnamon sugarmixture which you just mix sugar andcinnamon – to your taste however strongyou like it now in my mixer over here Ihave 1 cup of sugar and I have 3/4 cupof shortening and I have 3 eggs 3 largeeggsnow I’ve already had that mixing so I’mjust gonna like start it back upif you have a KitchenAid thisso candy that if you’re using anythingwith powdered sugar or dried necks likethis it doesn’t fly all over the placeso what’d she do or like I already hadthis mixing up you’re going to cream allthat together then I take a little bitof the time and I put my dry mixturedown into it[Music]now if you’re going to make the kisscookies you’re going to already want tohave your kisses unwrapped if you’redoing the lemon cookies you’re you’renot going to need anything I mean youcan drizzle them with frost with icingbut you don’t necessarily mascara andthe reason I say I see is becausewhatever for the frosting and iceI see skin you’d be able to drizzle itif you don’t want to make it to slide uphimfrosting and just women down a littlebit the design with the milk until youget it sit downyou can either kick things up with spoonin it and drink that way or you can putit in a piping bag and do it that wayin here[Music]and just that quick it’s done and alsoif you have a KitchenAid my husbandactually just bought this one for me andget my spatula and if you have a kitchenit usually comes with that metal one andthe metal one really doesn’t clean thesides of the bowl of them good but thelast two that we had they had like therubber spatula on the side it snappedoff now that is the worst thing everwhen your dough is about done in thatthing snaps and then you have plastic init and you have to throw your stuff awaybut this one that he bought and Ithought it would be a lot harder toclean than it is if you can see itliterally has like these I don’t knowgrooves on it almost reminds you of atire but it mixes up really good it’seasy to clean so if you have aKitchenAid you might want to invest inone of these right here I’m going to setthis off each side andmy spatula parking lot it’s a little biton the thick side not not too bad nowyou’re gonna have your stove preheatedto 350 you’re gonna take a cookie sheetput parchment paper on it once you startusing this parchment paper you’re goingto love it I just think that it makeseverything bake more even it doesn’tburn and to clean up now the cleanup isthe best you don’t have to scrub in yourpan then I just take a cookie baller youdon’t have it you might want to justtake it by the tablespoon or theteaspoon and you just all you have to dojust drop it in your powdered sugar andthen what I’d like to do is I just golike this and kind of bounce it aroundget a little bit of that excess powderedsugar off the they think up pretty bigso I only ever put 12 on here but youknow if you’re trying to make this gofather you can always use like a smallersomething smaller to do it with and thenyour dough would go farther because Iuse this one I’m not really sure whatthe size is that’s probably like I don’tknow like a 1 it’s pop 1 inch maybe alittle bit more so it makes fairlead ifyou know decent size cookiesand you just keep putting them on yourtray and so earlier I put chocolatekisses in it to hit caramel in themiddle you know they make so manydifferent kinds of chocolate kisses nowHershey’s does whether they have theyhave the mint they have chocolatecoconut cherry cordial they they didhave it there’s so many different onesthat you could actually put in this andchange the flavor up what my mom used touse was Junior Mints so she would have abowl of them and right when they cameout of the oven she put that junior mintin the middle of it and sometimes whenthey first came out of the oven shewould read diplom in the powdered sugarbut I mean that’s totally up to you soif you don’t want to put anything in themiddle you really don’t have to you canjust eat them the way that they are andthey are good that way so just have themlike that so the thing that I think I’mgoing to try tonight was I took candycane and crushed it up and I have theselittle miniature marshmallows so I thinkwhen this batch comes out of the ovenI’m gonna try putting the marshmallowdown in the middle and then I think I’mgoing to let that cool for a little bitand then I’m gonna pipe frosting on itand I’m gonna sprinkle it with the candycane so it would be kind of like a hotchocolate you know that you put thecandy cane so that’s all there is tothis and then you’re just going to putthem in the oven out the snickerdoodleson the recipe it says eight to tenminutes snickerdoodles ten minutesthey’re good but these I had to bump itup to 14 minutes and I don’t know ifit’s the powdered sugar that makes themcook I have to cook longer because itmakes them a little bit wetter butyou’re gonna know cuz when you pull itup out of the oven if where it’s alllike crinkly if it looksjust pop it in for a little bit and alot of its going to depend on your ovenyour might cook quicker than mine it maynot so that’s gonna you know change itup too but so there you have it theseare pudding cookies just use yourimagination or whatever you like bestfor whatever flavor you like I thoughtabout maybe trying a banana cream thisyear just whenever you like there you goyou just make them up and they weresuper quick to do and super easy so Ihope you really enjoy this recipe everyone that my mom used to make cookietrays for and put them on it was adefinite favorite so there you go MerryChristmas
