Milk Powder- 2 tbsp
Powdered Sugar- 1 cup
Butter- 150 grams
Milk- 2 tbsp
Vanilla essence- 1/2 tsp
Salt- 1/4 tsp.

Preparation:
************
In a big bowl, take 2 cups all purpose flour or Maida. Add 2 tbsp milk powder, 1 cup powdered sugar, 150 grams butter kept under room temperature

Add 1/4 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp Vanilla essence and & mix it initially using a Spoon. Knead it will using your hands

While kneading it using your hands, break the lumps and mix it well to knead a fine dough by adding 2 tbsp boiled & cooled down milk .

Adding the Milk will make the kneading easier but do not add more milk. Make it to a chapati dough consistency. Refrigerate it for 20 mins before making cookies.

Cover the dough with the Cling Film & refrigerate. This dough can be stored for 30 days. Take it 4 hours Before making the cookie & get it back to room temperature.

I have refrigerated for 1 day. Initially it will look hard, Knead it again for 5 mins to make it soft.

Sprinkle some all purpose flour or maida on the working surface and keep the dough. Place a parchment paper on top and roll it using a rolling pin.

Do not roll it too thin or too thick. dough should be around 1/4 inch thickness to cut the cookies.

Cut the cookies using cookie cutter, I have made star shape and round shape cookies.

After cutting all the dough into cookies, Place them in a baking tray over a parchment paper.Leave enough space between cookies.

Bake them in a Pre-heated Oven for 10 mins. Maintain 180 degrees throughout.

If you dont have a cookie cutter, use any small containers lid dip them in flour and cut the cookies.

We can make these cookies without oven too.Take a Pan fill some salt in it & place a silver stand on top of it. Pre heat it for 10 mins by maintaining high flame.

Place the cookies on a silver/ aluminium plate over the parchment paper and keep it on top of the stand. Leave some gap between the plate & pan.

Close the lid and bake it for 15 mins. Maintain low flame throughout.

After taking out of the pan, leave it to cool down for few mins it will turn crispy. Cookies sides will turn golden brown. Take it out of the pan at that moment.

After taking out of the Pan, Center part will be soft initially but once its cooled down it will turn crispy. Do not over bake it, otherwise it will get burnt.
