Thank you. Thank you for being you. I’ve
been reflecting on the last 11 weeks
since I posted my very first video and
the 10 videos that I posted and the
difference in perspective that *YOU* have
added to my life. You have inspired me.
You have supported me. You just share
your own personal stories and offered
constructive feedback and it’s been
incredible and with all of you I am
learning a deeper life lesson. We are ALL
SOO different. (Scoff) OH, THANK GOD! I could not
imagine a world (laughs) where everybody was a clone image of me! What a *boring* world
that would be!
*You* my friend are unique and I *love* you
for it and it adds value to my life, the aspect,
the different perspective that you bring.
I want to give you value to give you
back what you’ve been giving to me in
spades. This is my gift to you: How To
Make Chocolate Chip Cookies.
The bakery level results in the comfort
of your own home… and just to be clear
about my intention, now, if you’re looking
for a crunchy, sort of hearty dunk-able
cookie. I’m lactose intolerant. That’s not
happening in this video. I suspect you
could modify it by increasing the
cookie time (quickly rethinks how to “English”) —
the cooking time, but for me (whispers ) the perfect cookie is the kind that is crunchy on the
outside, gooey delicious on the inside,
has consistent results (aggressively hits plant), and it is just
kind of freaking awesome! So, let me share with you the tips I have learned! Let’s
get to it!
The two key supplies we’re going to use
are a baking stone and a cookie scoop. If
you don’t have a baking stone you can
check out my previous video on how to
select, care for and pre-season your
baking stone (click the “I” in the top right).
Cookies scoo-scoops can be
obtained in many stores and the size is
a matter of personal preference. Today we are going to be using the recipe on the
back of the Nestle Tollhouse Semi-Sweet
Morsel™ bag.
For best results use only
room-temperature butter and eggs. If you
haven’t set them out already and you
need to get them to room temperature
quickly here’s a couple tips for you. To
quickly bring butter to room temperature
use one stick at a time put it on the
outside edge of your microwave tray and
microwave it for six seconds. Then, turn
it over one quarter turn. Microwave it
again for six seconds. Then, one quarter
turn again and a third time for six
seconds. Voila! For room-temperature eggs simply put them in a bath of hot water.
before preheating your oven, relocate the
rack. So, the top rack is approximately
halfway between the top and the bottom
of your oven. Then, place the baking stone
on the ta– top rack. You’ll want to in
there as the oven preheats. Next, preheat
the oven to 375 ° F. Next,
thoroughly mix the butter and both
sugars together then add your eggs and
vanilla. Here’s a pro tip that I got
years ago from my friend and
Cookie Guru Extraordinaire Paula! She says
in order to achieve her level of
*fantastic* tasting cookies, those are my
words not hers, but, she’s famous for them, is in every recipe she uses that calls
for vanilla she just doubles it *YUMM* and I have been doing that ever since with
Paula level results. Next add your dry
ingredients mix thoroughly and fold in
your chocolate chips! Next remove the
baking stone from the oven and using the
cookie scoop scraping it against the
side of the bowl get leveled off scoops
of cookies so that each of these balls
of cookie dough are exactly the same
size; To allow for even baking time then
place them on the baking stone. Finally
you’re going to want to remove them from
the oven after approximately 8 minutes.
Now, this is earlier than the package
calls for and they will not look done.
You want to get them out with just the
barest hint of brown and *don’t worry*
this is not the final result let them
rest on the baking stone for another 5
minutes. You will see amazing results
once that five-minute process is done!
Alright. Now, having a really
good-looking cookie is one thing, but, the
proof is really in the taste! let’s–
(cRoNCh)
(oom) (noom) (nom)
WOW! (proceeds to be supersized at his own cookie)
Yeah, I’ve got to do it a gdsjn– do that
again… mhmM… MMHMM!! Mm,
(HEY! what did that plant ever do to you man??!)
do you see that?? oh, that’s- now
that is Paula level- (mouth smack) results. As I seek to get the chocolate off my teeth. I
want to thank *you* again for joining me in
*I WON’T HESITATE I WILL CALL PLANT PROTECTIVE SERVICES.*
me in this adventure together and here’s
the two ideas that I have for the next
video. So, cleaning up your finances. It’s
*HANG IN THERE JERRY! WE’RE HERE FOR YOU. #JUSTICE4JERRY*
a journey I’ve had to go on. I’m thinking
one is how to clean up your FICO store–
your FICO *score* and the FICO score is
your credit rating. If you live in the
United States. I’m sure there’s an
equivalent if you’re living in a
different country,
but, that number is coming into play in a
lot of ways. If you’re applying for
certain jobs, certain housings, certain
whatever; the background checks are now
routinely looking at that number as a
gauge of sort of responsibility level or
whatever they’re trying to read into
that. So, I’d like to educate you on sort
of what factors are going into how that
number is derived, the do’s and don’ts of
credit and this is regardless of whether
you ever intend to take out a loan or
debt or whatever; these are just simple
tips and tricks that increase your
opportunities for the future. The
other one is how to keep the same level
of service in existing stuff that’s
already– you’re already subscribed to or
signed up for like cell phone service or
cable, internet that sort of stuff.
Getting the same exact service from the
same provider and reducing it, cutting it
to a fraction of its cost
and this involves a little bit of a
negotiation strategy, a little bit of
just saying “Hey give it to me,” so, which
of those two aspects of cleaning up your
finances would you like to see? Because, I
have experience in both! limited, but,
still a little bit. So, let me know! until
next time! Have courage. Be bold.
let’s work together and clean up this
messy life!
Hey guys! Thanks for watching!
If you want to go the extra mile, *please*
like the video, subscribe to the channel,
share the video, or comment in Youtube.
These four additional things are what
Youtube is looking at in determining
whether I get access to key
developmental tools in the future. So
thank you for additional support!
See you guys!
