Astronauts prepare to bake cookies in space for the first time

we make it to Mars I think eventually
yes aren’t tomorrow I hope I really hope
so I I think that that’s that’s the real
possibility I think going to the moon to
stay and settle there and set up a base
of operations there
I think that would be a good next step
and then I think from there
moon can go from there what’s that moon
condos moon condos that’s one way to
look at it but then from there maybe go
to Mars I think that would be I think we
will I don’t think we can do it without
private enterprise though I agree with
you I think we do I think it’s very the
reason we haven’t gone yet I think it’s
because it’s one of the reasons is that
it’s pretty expensive for government yes
absolutely err we have done a lot of
things and we do we do fund our space
program pretty well but in order to be
able to go to Mars you know a lot of
these companies
I love the crazy billionaires yeah and
they’re not so crazy they’re very
credible they are they’ve done more than
I ever thought they could when it when
they first thought about the things that
we’re gonna do is about 15 years ago I
remember hearing about it in our
astronaut office meetings they would say
oh this is going on there’s no way but
they have been the astronaut office we
know we actually that’s where we have
gravity there’s no space very difficult
to be right they’re going to make the
first cookies that’s right zero-g oven I
don’t know how you do that and I love
bacon yeah well this is an experiment
we’re not really sure I’m partnering
with Doubletree from Hilton right so
it’s the same cookies you get in the
hotels are gonna be available in space
but we don’t really not sure the first
time we have ever actually cooked
anything in space it’s always been food
preparing the ground that we either e
hydrate or just warm up in a warmer but
this is a little bit most what what food
item did you look forward to most that
you actually ate space that I ate in
space well we had just about everything
on on earth
I like the macaroni and cheese me
Italian but I miss pizza that’s what I
