Today on The Stay At Home Chef I’m
showing you how to makePeanut Butter Kiss CookiesThese soft peanut butter
cookies are made with just five ingredients.Add a Hershey kiss on top
and you have yourself a delicious delight! You’ll need 1 cup of peanut
butter, 1/2 cup of sugar,1/2 cup of brown sugar, 1 large egg, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and 24 Hershey KissesThat’s right, there’s no flour in these
cookies. It’s really common for peanutbutter cookies to be made without flour
so this is great for all of yourgluten-free friends. Start by preheating
the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit thenline a baking sheet with either
parchment paper or a silicone baking matWe’re going to make our cookie dough in
a bowl with a hand mixer but you couldalso do this in a stand mixer. We’re
gonna scrape our peanut butter into thebowl and it helps when measuring peanut
butter if you spray the measuring cupwith nonstick cooking spray so it comes
out a little bit easier Then we’ll addin the 1/2 cup of brown sugar and the
1/2 cup of white granulated sugar andwe’ll cream this together. You want to
mix it for a good two to three minutesuntil it’s nice and creamy Then we’ll
add in our egg, our 1 teaspoon of vanillaextract and then we’ll mix this in until
it’s just combined. It should end upthick enough that you can form it into a
little dough ball. Then grab a tablespoonor just a regular spoon and we’ll
grab a heaping tablespoon of our doughand we’ll roll that into little 1 and a
quarter inch balls and then place itonto our prepared baking sheet/ Keep on
rolling out your cookies. I like to put12 to a pan. Because they’re so small
it’s tempting to add more to the pan butthey really need all of this space
around them. This recipe makes 24 cookies soyou’ll need to make up two pans. Bake
these one at a time in a 350 degree ovenfor about 8 minutes. Now while the cookies
are baking you’ll need to unwrap yourHershey Kisses so that they’ll be ready
to place this on the cookies. Now as soonas your cookies come out of the oven
you’ll want to grab them and whilethey’re still hot fresh out of the oven
you’ll press a Hershey kiss into thetop of each one. They almost look wrong
the way that they are but trust methey’re done. The Hershey kiss going in
causes that wonderful crinkle effect andslightly melts the Hershey kiss Let
these cool completely on the pan beforeyou try and remove them and eat them. Now
if you wanted to make these cookieswithout the Hershey kiss on top they
wouldn’t be quite right. What you want to do is actually press
them down with a fork before baking soyou end up with a nice little circular
cookie. Oh it’s so tempting to just grabone of these but they’ll fall apart
unless you cool them completely. I guessI’ll just pop a Hershey kiss in to hold
me over. Thanks for watching! You can findthe full written recipe in the video
