Sour dough bread

Sourdough Bread

Bread Recipe:
Starter 320 g or 1 1/2 cup
Salt 10 g or 1 1/2 Teaspoon
Water 460 g or 2 cup (70-78F degrees)
Whole Wheat Flour 200 g or 1 2/3cup
All purpose flour (preferably unbleached) 500-550 g or 3 1/2-1/3 cup

Mix all ingridients and knead for at least 10 minutes and do window pane test. Put dough in oiled bowel and let is rise for 3 hours.

Shape the dough and let it rise about 2-3 hours. Turn on oven 1 hour prior to putting bread in oven for 450-500 F degree depends on your oven hotness.

Score the bread and bake 30-40 minutes, once you put bread in oven lower the temperature for 400-450F. If you baking on tray or pizza stone, put metal tray on bottom of your oven and to put 1 cup of hot water prior to putting dough in the oven to create steam. If you use cast iron put the lid and bake for 20 minutes and then take the lid off and bake another 15-20 minutes.
When you reach your desired color of crust take bread out of oven and let it cool for about 1 hour before you eat it. Enjoy your bread.

welcome to Chris’s friend today I’mgonna show you how to make sourdoughbread in the beginning of my Facebookpage there is sourdough starter breadhas three sections so I combined it foryou two easy to follow making it onevideo please go visit that originalvideo has lots of lots of goodinformation in itdefault flour I’m using unbleached flourbut you can choose any flour of yourchoice whole wheat whole grain so let’sfollow this simple recipe of sourdoughstarter bread let’s learn how to make itso night before or eight to 12 hours youfeed the starter and then once it’sready deflated then measure the starterand then put it in a big bowl and addwater I just separated a little bit tobreak down that gluten bonds if you haveelectric mixer you can use it and addsalt and then add flour and we’ll mix ituntil it separates from side of the bowlthen bring it on a flat surface to needmy hand but if it’s electric mixer maybelike 8 to 10 minutes mix an electricmixer and really build that gluten andthen that gives nice nice Airy breadthat gluten bonds and trap those errorsthat’s why it makes nice bread to testthe gluten oily hand and stretch it outuntil you creates a thin film thewindowpane test and there we goGoten already forums so we’re gonna putit an oil container in a roomtemperatureuntil it’s doubled or about three hoursfirst rise I’m gonna show you twodifferent ways
