Welcome to this recipe video for seeded banana bread, I mean it when I say baking doesn’t get any easier than this. The recipe is quick and with only a couple of easy to follow steps, so great for a beginner. But the flavour is so lovely and it’s one of our favourites in this house :). Calorie wise it comes in at 239 calories per slice, so a real easy addition to a calorie counted diet. But gorgeous enough for a real treat.
I make it gluten free but if you want to make it and don’t need it to be gluten free then just replace the gluten free flour with ordinary self raising flour and miss out the xanthan gum.
I’ve left the ingredients below and if you do try it, please be sure to let me know how you get on.
Ingredients – pre heat oven to 180c|Gas 4|160cFan|350f
100g soft margarine
150g muscovado sugar

1 tsp bicarb of soda
2 large eggs
2 medium bananas
For the topping
25g pumpkin seeds
25g sunflower seeds
1 tbsp demerara sugar
