Lets cook presents perfect recipe of chicken bread that you can easily make at home by following simple steps in the video.
Plain flour (maida) 1/2 kg
Milk 1/2 cup
luke warm water 6-7 tbs or as required
Instant yeast 1 and 1/2 tsp
Salt 1/2 tsp
Oil 1/4 cup
1:First of all, In a large bowl add flour., Sugar, Salt, Instant yeast and mix it well.
2: Now add Egg,Oil, Milk, mix it with the help of your hands and keep adding the water slowly to form a sticky dough.
3: It will be sticking on your hands. Now dust a plain surface with maida put dough on it and knead it for about 6-7 minutes.
4: Grease a bowl with oil and put the dough inside. grease the dough also. Cover it and keep it in a warm place until it doubles in size. It takes almost 1 to 2 hours.
5: After the dough rises than once again dust the surface with flour and make shape if it.
6:Now the dough is ready to use 🙂
INGREDIENTS FOR FILLING:
Butter 100 g
Onion 1 medium sized
Salt 1 tsp or as per taste
Black pepper powder 1 1/2 tsp
Red chilli flakes 1 tsp
Maida 3 tbs
Milk 1 cup
Chicken boiled and shredded 250g (1 pao)
Till & kalonji
First of all, Take a pan and add butter in it.
Melt the butter and add onions in it and saute them.
3: Add Salt, red chilli flakes and black pepper powder, keep stirring.
4: Now add maida in it mix it and add milk slowly and make a thick lump free sauce.
5: Now add chicken and mix it. Let it cool at room temperature..
6: Dust the working surface with flour and knead the dough for a minutes and cut it in two equal parts.
7: Roll the 1 half of the dough in oval shape and add the filling in the middle, then cut the sides of the dough to do the binding, Start from left to right placing the cut strips one on the other till the end and pinch the end to seal it.
8: Grease the baking tray or put butter paper on it. Place the stuffed bread on it. Brush it with beaten egg and sprinkle sesame seeds(till) and kalonji on it.
9: Preheat the oven for about 10 minutes at 200C or 400f
10: Place the tray in the oven and bake it for 15 to 20 minutes or till it gets golden on the top.
11: Once baked, take it out and brush it with melted butter.
