[Music]hi my name is Maddy and welcome tobaking tips with my new Joyatoday as you can see we’re doingsomething very different because we’regonna start doing recipes now many ofyou have requested it and so I’m here todo whatever you guys want for this firstrecipe we are going to do something thatI particularly love which is breadanything bread I’ll take itexcept sometimes well most of the timesyou have to wait hours to get bread sotoday I’m bringing you a recipe that youcan have it from this to Europe in yourbelly in less than an hour so let’s getstarted it’s a honey wheat walnut raisinquick breath so let me get you over theingredients so we can get started herewe have all-purpose flour whole wheatflour baking soda salt I’m tugging is arape raisin and walnuts you can dowhatever you want you can do raisins andbecause you can do currents cranberrieswhatever you’d likehere I’m using golds and dark raisinsthis is these walnuts i toast them alittle bit just because they bring outthe flavor you don’t have to toast themfor like I encourage itbutter a room-temperature egg buttermilk and honey so and your paddle I meanyour stand mixer but you can also do itby hand if you’d like what we’re gonnado is we are going to firstall of our computers preferably allinside we are just going tomix it a little bit every no man we’rejust gonna start adding oh there’s someleft we’re going to start adding our wetingredients I am going to whisk the eggsa little bit just to help them out alittle bit and then let’s start[Music]buttermilkand if you don’t have buttermilk you canalways go to one of our tips where Iteach onand no timehoneywhich are previouslyand then before then I end the mixingprocess I am going to add my Adambecause you don’t want to over mix thisbecause if you over mix the dough thegluten is found develop and then you’regoing to get a hard bread which[Music]so now this is what you’re looking forand this bread works perfectly becauseeven though we’re not using nice wedon’t have to leave in it but thebuttermilkworks with the baking soda and activatesit which helps to leave in a process inthis particular bread what we’re goingto do now is flour our working surfaceyou want to make sure nothing sticks itis kind of sticky which is why you needto flour your surface but with thematter of just a little bit of muscle wewill get it out and get it togetherlook at that I mean what beats freshlybaked bread and this if you have abrunch last week I did another versionof this bread for a brunch I had I justwoke up a little bit earlier than usualI whipped this up and by the time Iguests arrived the bread was out of theovenfresh and people just went crazy for itbecause it’s so good that it’sridiculous and so I think I’m gonna needa little bit more you don’t overdo itwith the flour but of course you do wantto make sure that um you see and I puton my bench scraper so I’m just gonnahave to do it like this and then we wantto knead it together just to make surethat everything is well combinedand you see I mean this is really thehardest part of this recipe just makingshirts well-mixedbut that’s I mean you can do it withyour kids you can do this with anyonereally because it’s super super easyhowever we want to make sure look atthat I mean it’s just pure glory andyou’re going to take this to a fourhundred five nine oven of course that’sall rightyou have to preheat it before you startdoing this at a 400 degree oven and takea nine inch baking pan I am going to usemy cast iron skillet just because Ithink it works awesome with this youdon’t have to you can just take a bakingpan a cake pan whatever you have a Pyrexwhatever that’s big enough for it togrow and let it rise and then with thehelp of your sharp knifeyou are going to make a little cut likea cross like an axe I write here andthen to give it a little bit of a rusticlook you can um dust a little bit offlour okay you’re going to bake this for45 minutes 45 to 50 minutes depending onyour oven but for the first 20 minutesyou’re gonna cover it lightly with somealuminum foil okay so I’m breaking outthe oven it took about 55 minutesbecause my oven is a little off but youwill know that your bread is ready whenyou hear this when you hear that hollowsound that means my friends that we havearrived to glory and then what I’m gonnajust want to show you what am this is abitbut that’s the only way to be bred rightand this my friends is the way to lookat that look at that from this my friendis very no wait but this is not Lauriethank you for watchingnew fun um the link to the recipe in thebox below and don’t forget to subscribesee you next time
