How to Make Instant Pot Moist Banana bread/Cake

Turn the ripe bananas into moist and delicious banana bread in the Instant Pot. Banana bread or cake can be made in the Instant Pot in cake setting or Pressure setting.
Bonus: How to make the foil sling.
Ingredients
All-purpose flour- 1 1/2 cups
White sugar or brown sugar- 1/2 cup
Baking soda- 1 tsp
Ground cinnamon – 1/2 tsp
Salt- 1/4 tsp
Ripe bananas- 3, mashed well
Melted butter, unsalted- 1/3 cup
Egg- 1
Vanilla extract- 1 tsp
Chocolate chips- 1 tbsp (or add more)
Instructions
In a bowl: combine flour, sugar, baking soda, ground cinnamon, and salt.
In another bowl, mash the ripe bananas using a fork or potato masher until smooth and without any lumps.
Add the melted butter, egg and vanilla extract. Combine well using a whisk till smooth.
Slowly add the prepared dry ingredients or flour mix into the banana mixture, combine well till the batter has a smooth constituency.
Add the chocolate chips, mix well.
Grease a 6-inch baking pan or springform pan with butter.
Pour the batter into the pan, even out the top.
Close the pan with aluminum foil.
Add 1 cup water to stainless steel pot. Place the trivet, place the baking pan on the trivet.
Close the IP with the lid.
In Ultra Model: Click on Cake button, set time to 55 minutes, at high pressure.
In 7 in 1 Model: Click pressure button, use manual setting to adjust the time to 55 minutes and high pressure.
After 55 mins of pressure cooking, let pressure release naturally-takes 15 minutes.
Open the lid, take the baking pan out of the pot.
Remove the aluminum foil, let cool down for 15 minutes in the pan itself.
After cooling, cut the banana bread into wedges and enjoy! YUM!

[Music]hey everyone welcome to cooking yourtask in this video I’m going to show youguys how to make banana bread in theinstant part I only have a really goodrecipe for making banana bread so I’llbe using that recipe and the onlydifference is that instead of baking itin the oven I’ll be using instant partfor making banana breadunlike other easy breezy instant Parkrecipes we cannot make banana bread orany other cake instantly in the instantthought so the time required to makethis addiction part is same as the timerequired to bake it in the oven so ittakes out 55 minutes since we have aninstant part why not we try makingbanana bread in it right it’s going tobe super fun and also will get reallymoist and delicious banana bread that’smade in the instant pot so are you guysready let’s get started let’s mix thedry ingredients so into a bowl I’m goingto add one and a half cups all-purposeflour 1/2 cup white sugar you can alsouse brown sugar 1 teaspoon baking soda1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon you canalso use nutmeg quarter teaspoon saltthese are the dry ingredients so give ita good mix and keep it aside so nextlet’s mix all the wet ingredients so weneed 1/3 cup of butter so this is 1/3cup I’m going to melt this in themicrowave so we need to use meltedbutter here is the melted butter so I’mgoing to add this to a bowl next I’mgoing to add one egg it’s going to crackthebutter using a fork and adding oneteaspoon of vanilla extract so add purevanilla extract in another bowl I’mgoing to mash the bananas so I’m takingthree bananas so if you have really ripebananas use that bananasI’m going to use the fork to mash thebananas or you can even use potatomasher this is good bananas have mashedwell so I’m going to add the wetingredients it’s good to use a spatulaso everything will come out pretty wellit’s well so next I’m going to add theflour mixture add the flour mixtureslowly so after every addition mix itwellmix it well till the flower has wellincorporated so this is a pretty goodworkout for our arms I’ll be making thebanana bread in a six squat instant potso whatever baking pan that fits wellyou can use it usually six inch bakingpan works I’m going to use a springformpan here a small one so I have somebutter here melted butter so going togrease the bottom and the side of Japan[Music]support the batter into the panto the batter you can also add nuts ofyour choice almonds or pecans or evencashew nuts so I’m also going to addsome chocolate chips so this is milkchocolate like 1 tablespoon up mix coverthe pan with an aluminum foil next let’smake a foil sling so take up bigaluminium foil like this hold this[Music]here is our foil sling so what we aregoing to do with this is you can placethe baking pan on the center of theswing like this and now we have the twofree ends so we can lift the pan byholding onto the three ends like this sowe can place this pan into the samelesson pot like this and after thepressure cooking has completed therewill be a lot of steam in the pot so wecan take the pan out of the pot just bylifting using the oil slickisn’t this so cool and convenient so wedon’t have to buy any additional thingto take the pan out of the pot we haveour handmade oil I have placed astainless steel pot into the main partso going to add one cup of waterso now let’s place the Trivette thatcame with the instant pot place the panover the Trivette so I have used thefoil sling to lift the pan so fold thefoil sling and place it over the pan sonext let’s close with the lid and makesure the sealing ring is secured wellit’s kept in place I’m using instant potultra model so on this model we have akey feature so I’m going to use that soselect the cake feature pressure shouldbe high and I’m going to set the time to55 minutes all right and the pressurehas to be high then click start so youwill take around 5 minutes for thepressure to build and thenit will start pressure cooking I’m alsomaking sure the pressure release valveis kept in place if you have the instantpart 7 in one model it doesn’t have thecake setting so you need to use thepressure setting you need to use themanual setting and set the time to 55minutes make sure the pressure is highso you can make banana bread in any kindof instant pot pressure cooking hascompleted so it’s been 55 minutes letthe pressure release naturally so itwill take around 15 minutes so after 10minutes I will check the pressure ifthere’s only a little bit of pressure Iwill do a quick pressure releaselet’s wait for that after 30 minutes ofnatural pressure release let’s check thepressure so I’m going to do a quickalright guys so let’s open the lid andsee how the banana bread has turned outokay so use the foil sling to take thepan or a seat be very careful all rightso let’s remove the melted chocolatechips on the top next I’m going toinsert a fork into the center and see ifthe Center has cooked well here yes ithas cooked well let the banana breadcool down in the baking pan itself solet it cool down for 10 to 15 minutesbanana bread has cooled down so I’mgoing to occur into wedgessquares so just one a knife along thesides wow this looks awesome so let’scut it into wedges it smells really goodso let me take the slice and I’ll showyou guys how the inside looks likeWow look at this guy’s it has cooked sowell it’s very moist since I’ve addedchocolate chips it has melted on
