Chickpea Tikka Masala

4 tbsp Oil
2 tsp Cumin Seeds
1 Onion, chopped
2 tbsp Tomato Paste
1 1/2 tbsp Garlic
1/2 tbsp Ginger
1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tsp Red Chili Powder
2 tsp Coriander Powder
1/2 tsp Cumin Powder
1/4 tsp Garam Masala
1 1/4 cup Water
1 can Coconut Cream
1 tsp Fenugreek Leaves
3 cups Chickpeas, cooked
1/2 Lime, juiced
Big Handful of Cilantro, chopped
1 tsp Salt, salt to taste
1/4 tsp Black Pepper

Simple Flatbread

2 cups Flour
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Baking Powder
1 tbsp Oil
Pinch of Turmeric
1 cup Water

what’s up everybody welcome back to eatmore planets with Dawson Watkins todayI’m gonna show you how to make chickpeatikka masala and naan bread if at anypoint you like this content make sureyou smash that like button down belowand if you haven’t subscribed yet makesure you hit that red subscribe buttonwhile you’re at it go ahead and clickthat Bell join the notification squadyou’re not gonna want to miss what I’mcooking up alright y’all let’s not wasteany more time here let’s get right intothischickpea tikka masala and naan breadlet’s good[Music][Music][Music][Music][Music]alright we got all our ingredientschopped up here let’s get right intothis alright our oils hot going in withsome cumin seeds once you hear thosesputter we’re going in with our onionmix us into the oil I’m going in with mygreen chili mix and scent start to snowand nice in here huh now that that onionis translucent I’m going in with somegarlic and ginger I’m also going to goin with some tomato paste here makes thesame[Music][Music]going with some spices some tumeric somebread chili powder some coriander powderand some cumin powder I’m also going inwith some salt some pepper mix this innow that those spices are well infusedI’m going in with some water scrape thebottom of this pan I’m also going inwith some coconut cream here alrightlet’s just stir this in[Music]I’m just gonna bring this to a boil atthis point I’m also gonna add somefenugreek leaves mix these in I almostforgot I’m gonna go in with a quarter ofa teaspoon of some garam masala here cutthis down to low let this simmer for 30minutes almost forgot the chickpeasy’all so definitely go in with yourchickpeas mix these in well and letthese simmer the whole time all rightguys we’re gonna get into this pitabread right here going in with someflour say 2 cupsthis isn’t pita bread what is this whenI get into some simple flatbread righthere going in with some salt going inwith some baking powder pinch ofturmeric some olive oil going in withsome water[Music]makes the same dough’s all ready to goall right let’s get some oil on the panhere let’s get our pita in the pan notPITAwe’re just gonna cook it about 30 to 60seconds on each side until it is goldenbrown on all sides and in the dough isthoroughly cooked through all right ourbreads all done here let’s set this upall right we got our bread here we gotsome rice right here it’s actuallyleftover mujadara from the Mediterraneanfeast that I just posted we got ourbeautiful chickpea tikka masala herewe’re gonna go right in the serving dishwith it take these lives put them rightthere and take some cilantro there youhave it guys we got chickpea tikkamasala right here and we got our freshmade bread as well as our leftoverbasmati rice here let’s eat got me somesilverware it’s cold-blooded oh my badsome chickpea tikka masala here you’llsee that y’all about to learn tell themnot how to eat more plants this is howyou do it this is exactly how you do itall right all right get you a bite ofthis chickpea tikka masala and somebreadoh and some rice go ahead and try it notwhat you think not just for the cam a1mmmget your body this chickpea tikka masalaget you some bread and get you a bite ofthis mmm it’s delicious[Music]it’s incredible all right that’s itall right y’all that’s it for this onesee you guys next time eat more plantsy’all peace
