DURING OUR SELF ISOLATION WITH THIS COVID 19 ISSUE WE RAN OUT OF BREAD ON DAY 2 SO I HAD TO GET CREATIVE AS I DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH INGREDIENTS THAT WERE NEEDED. I FOUND SOME RECIPES BUT CHANGED IT WITH ITEMS I HAD AROUND THE HOUSE WITH ENDED UP WITH ME BAKING THE MOST DELICIOUS BREAD I HAVE EVER HAD! I WILL FROM NOW ON BE BAKING MY OWN BREAD AS IT IS CHEAPER AND SO MUCH BETTER TASTING! EASY BREAD RECIPE TO MAKE AT HOME! TRYING OUT A TWIST ON THE JENNY CAN COOK BREAD RECIPE WHOLE WHEAT BREAD AND SO YUMMY!

hello beautiful people who are walkingmy channel my name is Shannon in today’svideo I’m gonna show you my really yummyand super simple and easy deliciouswhole-wheat bread recipe so I actuallyfound this online and a lot of theingredients I didn’t have I will link itdown below the recipe that I kind of gotthe idea from and I tweaked it to my ownso I will leave the recipe down belowotherwise the instructions will be inthis video and hopefully enjoy happybaking here goes my brother speak soactually my recipe right here on theside so I can take a look at it we’regonna start off with a mixing bowl whichI didn’t actually have so I worked withthat you’re gonna start off with 2 cupsof whole wheat flour pour that on inthere you’re gonna add half a cup ofall-purpose flour 1 packet of instantyeast or fast-rising yeast and 2tablespoons now I ball this of brownsugar like I said the recipe calls fordifferent things but this is my recipethat I have kind of tweaked on my ownfor what I had and what I thought tastedso good the first time around now I mixit all up and then we’re gonna take somemilk so we’re gonna do 1 cup of milk andwe’re gonna actually heat it up so youcan heat it up on the stove but I’m justgonna do it the microwave I’m gonna giveit a little bit of a stir and put theegg beater in and I found the first timearound when I made it I didn’t blend itfirst before adding the wet ingredientsand instant yeast actually whatseparated all along the side of the bowland not all of it got into the dough soI decided to mix it all up first andthen add the wet ingredients and I thinkthis made a huge difference this timearound I’m blending in the milk and nowit’s time to add one egg[Music]lastly you want to add some oil so likeI said the recipe calls for vegetableoil I did not have that and I triedcoconut oil it was so delicious so Iwould highly recommend trying this oneif you have some coconut oil at home andyou just want to melt it first that wayit can really blend in perfect and alsousing a little bit of that coconut oilor whatever all you have to all the dishyou’re gonna be baking it in that waythe bread just slides right off anddoesn’t stick to the edges I have thisglass bowl ready for it to go in oncethe dough is ready and it’s gonna risein that glass bowl there here is the oilthen I was telling you about we’re justgonna pour it in and mix it all up andI’ll be right back once it’s mixed upand ready to knead the dough honestlydon’t know what I’m doing when it comesto kneading so I’m probably doing itwrong but hey it works so that’s okayI’m not a baker as you can tell and Ijust kind of worked the dough around andaround for about 50 turns don’t worry Iskip through those parts you don’t haveto sit here and watch it the entire timeand once that’s done you’re just gonnaroll it in kind of a ball and put itinto your dish and then you’re gonnawant to put a dry clean washcloth ordish cloth over top and put it in a warmdark place after about 30 minutes I tookit out and again I’m gonna knead itagain you saw that how much it rose injust thirty minutes so I’m just gonnaadd some more flour it was getting alittle bit sticky and you’re just gonnaknead the dough again like I said I’llspare you the footage of that one andonce that’s done you’re gonna pop itinside your pad that’s already oiled I’mshowing you here what it actually lookslike in the pan and you’re gonna see howmuch it rises in about an hour so thistime I’m gonna let it rise for an hourand look at that puffy already so you’regonna turn it to 375 in the oven and putit in the oven for 30 minutes exactlythis is the finished product so thatimmediately after taking out of 30minutes in the oven you want to put iton the cooling rackand just let it go and you know it’sready if it’s like just crusty on theoutside I love it yep there’s
