=========Onion coconut curry recipe:============
This is my recent all time favourite side dish for chapati. It also tastes delicious with rice and curd. Try this and enjoy the recipe!!
Ingredients:
Oil – 1 tbspn
Pepper – 1tbspn
Fenugreek – 1 tbspn
Cumin seeds – 1 tbspn
small onions- 1 cup
green chilli – 1
curry leaves
Tamarind paste – 1 tbsn
Chilli powder – 1 tbspn
Turmeric powder – 1 tbspn
Coriander powder – 1 tbspn
Coconut paste/milk- 1/2 cup
Jaggery – small piece
salt
Procedure:
=========
1. In a pan, pour oil and add pepper, fenugreek, cumin seeds. – saute for 60 seconds. Then add green chilli and curry leaves.
2. Now, add small onion and cook for 3 minutes. Add salt.
3. Now, its time to add, turmeric, chilli and coriander powders. Mix them well.
4. Then, add tamarind paste. Mix it.
5. Once you get the flavour, add jaggery – a small piece and add coconut paste/ coconut milk. Cook for 5 mins.
6. For garnishing add coriander leaves.
It’s now ready to serve.
