Wheat Bread – 03 slices
Wheat Flour – 2 tbsp
Semolina – 1 tsp
Curd – 2 tsp
Water as required
Onion, Chopped – 1 tbsp
Carrot, Chopped – 1 tbsp
Fresh Coriander leaves, Chopped – 1 tbsp
Green Chilli, Chopped – 1 tsp
Tomato, Chopped – 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Garam Masala Powder – 1 tsp
Butter – 2 tsp
Method of Preparation:
1.Remove the crust of wheat bread slices. Cut the bread into pieces.
2.Put the wheat bread slices into clean vessel. Add wheat flour, semolina and curd one by one. Add water as required to mix it well.
3.Combine everything well to bring it into batter consistency.
4.Mix it well to bring the batter smooth and without any big lumps. You can powder the bread slices in mixie for easy mixing.
5.Leave this batter mixture for 20 – 30 minutes to get the taste of sour.
6.After 30 minutes, add onion, carrot, coriander leaves, green chilli, tomato, garam masala powder and salt in to the batter.
7.Mix it gently. Put a tsp of butter and mix it again nicely, this one gives good glaziness to this uttapam.
8.Heat pan and melt butter in it.
9.Pour bread uttapam batter in this pan and spread it evely.
10.Slowly make the ladle to free the sides of uttapam and turn the side. Cook both the side of this bread uttapam and serve hot for best taste result.
