ASMR Baking: Tomato bread

Tomato Bread

Ingredients:
250g Bread Flour
5g Oregano Leaves
5g Garlic Powder
30g Sugar
5g Truffle Salt (or sea salt))
1 Large Egg
5g Yeast
120g Tomato Purée
35g Unsalted Butter

• Slightly cut a cross on the tomato, then pour boiling water to it, immerse the tomato into the hot water for few minutes, then pill off the skin and cut the tomato into few slices
• Put the tomato slices into a blender, blend to be the Tomato Purée, then put aside for later use
• Stir the egg evenly, then put aside for later use
• Place the flour, Oregano, Garlic Powder, Truffle Salt, and sugar into the mixer bowl, use a sieve for a smoother texture, mix them evenly
• Add tomato purée and the egg into the mixture, then add the yeast
• Use the mixer to mix thoroughly, then let it rest for 15 minutes

15 Minutes Later
• Add the unsalted butter, then use the mixer again to mix thoroughly, then let it rest for 90 minutes for the fermentation

90 Minutes Later
• Cut the dough into 4 long pieces
• Use 2 long pieces to braid a bread, braid another 2 long pieces for the second bread
• Let them rest for 1 hour for the second fermentation

1 Hour Later
(Optional) Bread Finishing Ingredients: 1 egg / Italian Seasoning as desired

• Evenly apply the stirred egg on top of the bread dough
• Evenly apply some Italian Seasoning on top of the bread dough
• Pre-heat oven to 360°F, then bake for 18 minutes
